This is so helpful in the kitchen especially when it comes to time. I use the echo dot for music, making my shopping list, a kitchen timer and most of all for fun. The price was also great for the product.

Although the sound emanating from the Dot is not as good as the Echo, the functionality is equal. Pairing the Dot to a Bluetooth speaker negates that issue for this lower-priced product. Great value and versatility.

We have two normal sized echos and love them. I thought this would look great for my desk setup, and be functional in my office. Now I don't even need to get up to turn off my lights with the use of my ge link bulbs.

The amazon echo is great! It can look things up, tell time, etc! Great addition to my collection of gadgets.

Love the Echo. I went for the smaller version because I had planned on connecting to to my Home theater receiver. Easy to hook up and set up. I added "skills" from the Alexa app which allow me to control everything from my home theater system on the Harmony hub to my Phillips Hue lights, in addition to getting weather and subway information. At 50 bucks, this is a no-brainer. On a side note, if you are not a technical person or are intimidated by technology, you may want to get some help with the setup as the included instructions are a bit on the thin side. You'll also have to install the Alexa App to get it going. Other than that, I love it and would recommend it to anyone who wants to start tinkering with home automation products.

Everyone at my house is getting so used to Alexa that’s got this one for one of the rooms in the house, it’s affordable, small and gives out a decent sound.

I love the Echo Dot, I have them in multiple room.

We purchased to add to our new Sonos One (Alexa is part of this new product). I did some research and discovered we could also integrate some of our lighting and door lock (door lock has minimal use with Alexa but the manufacturer is working to do more). This product was easy to set up and we’ve enjoyed using it overall.

This EchoDot works so well with my home. I can control almost everything. I love playing games with my friends and family on it, I can like to any song. Its sooo much to do. Its really worth it.

My first Echo Dot and I don't know why I waited so long to buy. From telling me the weather to operating my automated power stick to playing thunderstorm sounds at bedtime, this item rocks!
