I have one of these in each of my cars. Love just asking for music, weather, and my audio books while driving. I use my phone for a hotspot in the car, and the echo pairs to the car bluetooth input. The only complaint I have is that when I place a call through the echo, it switches from bluetooth to the internal speaker. It reconnects after the call is done. From what I can tell, this is intentional, not a defect. It's still annoying. I have too much hum over the aux input, so until I get that figured out, I just have to live with the internal speaker for the rare occasions when I make a call.

I have multiple of these, and find them as one of the best gifts for others as well. Value packed at a very low cost for the functionality. Better buy than more expensive devices, especially if have bluetooth speaker/soundbar in house to connect to for music.

Easy to setup and link to other electronics in your home. My kids love theirs and it makes waking up in the morning easier. Alarm, weather report, music, etc.

I am so happy with this little bitty assistant of mine. I do not have to search for the music, the singer and the kind of tempo I want to play, all I do is tell her, and she takes care of it. I can even schedule her when to stop playing and when to wake me up.

It has never failed me. I like it so much, I gave my 4 children and their family one for Christmas. Thank you Best Buy for super products. Salespeople are always helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. I’m happy and i’ll tell you why. It’s because of Best Buy.

I love the Echo Dot. I already had a good blue tooth speaker so didn't need to buy the larger Echo. The best speaker to purchase along with the Dot though, is the Vaux Speaker and Battery Base.The Echo Dot "drops" right in the top of it, it's cordless, and sounds excellent! My kids use Alexa to check spelling errors, word definitions, math problem, and more to help with their homework. I use it for weather, music, news, movie reviews, for almost anything I normally would have looked up on the computer before the Echo. We even play games with it! It's been a great addition to our household!!

Good buy for the money and has good use and functionality out of the box

The Echo Dot is a great product for an affordable price. The device itself is able to hear my voice from an impressive distance, and if there is any confusion the Alexa app allows you to playback what was heard. It pairs well with a bluetooth speaker, automatically connecting when you turn on said bluetooth device after a few seconds. The sound leaves something to be desired, but for the price its very hard to complain. Podcasts & audibooks sound fantastic, but of course bass lows in some music just aren't there. All around its very good, I have incorporated it into use around the house easily. Try it out.

great echo dot. easy to setup and works well. I actually bought 3 of these when they went on sale. One for each room. no problems. decent sound. works great.

Integrates well with my other smart home devices. I can control my lights and heat with voice commands. I like the flash briefing skill. Picks up my voice really well.

This is amazing, ask Alexa anything! you can even play games with it. My kid loves being able to ask for music, my wife loves asking weather, music, recipes.

The size of unit is ideal. Speaker quality is good. Still in process of programming. The radio option is excellent to have on when everyone is gone from home!!!

Amazing product, very intuitive. I have linked the Dot with a lot of my smart home devices. Can hear my voice from a 360 degree angle and its very sleek and stylish.

Small and compact. Does everything the full size echo does but in a smaller packaging. Speakers are small but more than enough to play music in the shower. Love Alexa

Got my first Echo Dot a year ago for Christmas, and initially only used it to check the weather, time, etc., until I started realizing how smart she really is! She is a virtual encyclopedia. She has such a pleasant voice, and never gets impatient with me. I started asking her to play music, and then purchased the full size Echo, and am amazed at the sound. Purchased these 2 more Dots for opposite ends of the home, and use them as an intercom system, and to communicate with our home on the coast. Still learning what all she is capable of! Getting this old man up with the times!

We really like our echo. My husband uses it daily to make lists, check the weather, and get sports updates. The only complaint I have is that I wish the max volume was a little bit louder. Overall, it’s easy to use and works great.
