These are great for extending the range of some of the voice controlled smart home gadgets in my house. Definitely not good for listening to music. I put mine in hallways and bedrooms. Also works well as an intercom system with Alexa’s “Drop in” feature.

I needed something for work. This speaker is awesome! I is small and easy to carry around. The speaker gives out a loud sound! I recommend it..

Purchased The amazon echo dot even though I was skeptical as a friend had recommended it. And I have used it everyday since. Alexa is very responsive and has many skills you can enable to help with everyday tasks. Although I think more skills are needed.

I use the echo dot all around my house. I have the lifx bulbs paired making scenes and automation easy. With the new drop in feature it’s like I have a fancy intercom system for the house. With more updates coming out the echo gets better and better.

i have the bigger Echo, this is great for the spare room, speaker is good enough and if you dont like it...you can add a bluetooth one for a louder sound.

Love this for my teen daughter with special needs: she can give verbal commands to play music, set alarm, have story read to her. She loves it!

The echo was very easy to pair with the devices in my home. The echo is small, sturdy, and yet still powerful. The sound is clear and projects.

Works great. Nice sound. Compact. Glad they have the classic colors and not the red, yellow, etc...The colors are simple and not over the top.

Its really a great concept but then for basic feature we already have our smart phones and and no one gone shopping without windows shopping. Worst is it always need to be connected to charger, add a battery to it which will last at least for few hours else its of no use without power connection.

Easy to set up and use. I was worried that the echo wouldn't understand me but no worries, it has been the best gift. I use it all thetime for weather, music, etc.

Great for setting timer or alarm clock, keeping track of appointments, answering questions, small and inobtrusive, actually a neat little item for not much money.

I love the Dot. Connects to my Bluetooth bedside clock which has a great speaker. Small enough to put anywhere and I can connect with it from quite a distance.

The echo devices are incredible, and for me I added an extra $25 to Amazon on top of my Prime account which allowed me to upload all of my music library to Amazon and now I can stream it on any Echo device or my Amazon Music app wherever it is installed!

I have 2 of these in my house and bought this for my in-laws for Christmas. My mother-in-law is a big technology fan so this was right up her alley. I also bought the Hue lights and shower her how to connect them. It’s great to have those capabilities.
