This thing is great. It answers my questions, it plays music and can set alarms. I asked it what the first 80 digits of pi were and it named them all.

The echo is a great item with lots of compatibility for the smart products I bought, and is also good at being a decent radio/music player when I'm bored.

What's not to love. Used to be you either had to go to a library or get the encyclopedias out. Then we got the Internet so it was faster to use search engines for info, now we have the echo dot. Just say the wake word then wiki, then whatever it is you want to know. It controls appliances and outlets and light bulbs and the amazon Fire stick. It keeps getting smarter by adding skills to it. Some of the jokes are rated g some are nc 17 and worse. Adding your own blue tooth speaker makes it even better when you have Amazon prime to access a ridiculous amount of music. No regrets yet.

Fine tuning Echo can be a little time consuming but love the functionality of her. Very entertaining. Connects to most devices and sounds great. Love that she has most of the answers and can help light up the house. She truly is an assistant.

I needed more coverage in my house when I'm not near my Amazon Echo. Bought this for my family room, and it works great when you need Alexa's help with something (like turning on lights). Plus it has an audio output. For the price it can't be beat.

This was purchased during Black Friday deals as a gift. I'm sure it'll be great as he voice texts all the time. Much easier asking "Alexa" rather than picking up the iPad to search. Also, it was an incredible deal. Worthy gift at regular price too.

This lil devil sounds good & is perfect for the spare bedroom. Gives my guests access to music thru Prime & even sets an alarm for them!

It listens and performs great.. Sound is adequate for a device this small (it sounds good). The small footprint makes it perfect for any environment. I love it.

This little decice packs a great punch. Love the size and compatible with its Mom, Alexa. Love queueing up music or talking with the little fella. Recommend.

I purchased the echo dot to help in assisting my other home automation devices. I like being able to voice activate lights, tv, thermostat etc. Once or twice a day it won't pick up my voice or will wake up and start talking on its own, but overall it works like advertised and as lots of options for using it by itself or tying it into your home automation.

You get what you pay for and more. The Echo Dot is just as good without the price tag of the larger Echo. Easy to set up and get starter.

Love it. I use it to turn on lights and work my t-stat. My son plays with it as well. I just bought a harmony hub and now use Alexa to control my tv.

Absolutely fantastic! Got it for my 10-year-old daughter, she has it in her room with her own playlist. Works perfectly and turns on her lights in her room.

Make multiple lists and timers.. control external music apps like pandora... control your smart devices like thermostat and lights AND even operate one from your car so you can do all the with a mobile hotspot and be productive when driving also!!

This thing is really fun and neat. I can control my thermostat via voice controls, and can also play fun games with the speaker itself. I do wish the smaller version I have was a bit louder, but it is what it is.

We loved the echo and decided to get a dot for the bedroom. It works perfectly for what we need. We use it to play sleep music at night, and the sleep timer is a nice bonus. We also communicate when we’re in separate rooms and that feature works well too. Sound quality isn’t as good as the echo, but it works great for a bedroom/bathroom. Good purchase.
