Echo was easy to set up and operate. I enjoy having access to my music and radio without having to open a device. It was easy to blue tooth to my receiver and provides great sound through the speakers.

Great little toy to add to the collection of must haves! Works good and sounds great too! Doesn't take up too much space either.

I have the Echo which is working great as long as it can hear me. I am slowly building a Smart Home and as I walk to my chair I can tell Alexa to turn on the TV. This is great but I like my tv loud which makes trying to tell Alexa to turn the channel or start Netflix, Etc... it just can't hear me. Best Buy had a sale on the Echo Dot so I got one, put it close to my chair and problem solved. As I add more Smart Things to my house I am betting I will be adding the Echo Dot to a few other rooms.

Very inexpensive on sale-decent speaker and at this price point can buy one for every room.

The echo dot is a great product. Ease of use, continually improving with alexa, price point all make it a great value.

Very easy to use, works great especially with amazon prime, I like how you can have it play whatever song pops into your head.

It's takes a while to get used to it. But overall it is very helpful to have in our home. I plan on making a full smart home so we will add all pieces to places around the house. Be sure to enter all info in correctly during set up (with no fat finger mistakes) because it took forever to get that fixed!

great gift for older people who do not have our generation's dexterity anymore to add information quickly to iPhones and provide information. This will save lots of time and eliminate technology frustration.

This speaker is easy to use and set up and sync with your smartphone. Also great sounding. Highly recommend.

This thing is customizable as can be and does much more than people would think. I wrote some custom skills in the developer portal and kept them private so they would only work on my device. Now it reads me my custom notes that I add on my personal website while I am drinking my coffee in the morning.

I really find search engine is giving far better results than Google home. Currently i use both google home and Amazon echo. I really love amazon echo which has better design and sound clarity than google .

Love the echo dot! It is perfect for the bedroom and turning off my smart plugs after I go to bed at night.

This is a great device. I have added it to the Echo. Point to note is that it cannot be located near the Echo as your voice commands will go to both and create chaos. Also, if you attempt to link either via bluetooth, again they cannot be located near each other. Otherwise, this is a great device, especially for the low price. Seems like Holiday discounts are becoming available so watch for those. Otherwise, a real find. Just remember it will be even more fun is you have the Amazon Music unlimited plan.

Quick review of why I prefer it to the Google Home Mini. While it does have a mono speaker, the line out is stereo and when you link it to a bluetooth speaker it is stereo also. You can also use this AS a bluetooth speaker to broadcast stuff from your phone. I bought a battery speaker stand to make it portable and to improve it's volume. It does not answer questions as well as the Google Home Mini but I don't use it for that very often. Mostly weather requests, alarms and music.

I have the Dot and the Echo. The Dot does everything the Echo does except the Dot doesn’t have the acoustic speaker w/ woofer. The devices frequently update as new capabilities become available. Lots of fun!

The Amazon echo dot is awesome when paired with other home automating services and activities. For those who don't think the speaker on the dot is loud enough just pair it with a Bluetooth speaker to hear Alexia through the speaker. Siri is cool but who wants to have their phone on them all the time? This is a must have for anyone who wants. To jump start their home into where the future is heading.

So cool to check traffic, weather and news by just asking a question. But the best part is playing music and telling Jokes.

I don’t have the larger, more expensive Echo, but the Dot suits my needs just fine without adding to the cost. Great for weather updates, news, and a little fun (“Alexa, tell me a joke”). The Dot can “hear” you from anywhere close to it, and seems very intuitive for the most part. Highly recommended l!

Does exactly what I needed.....alarm, jokes (rather bad though), weather....can't wait to incorporate her into a smart home.
