The Echo Dot is a great device and fun to play with. Moreover it makes daily things easier by connect it to Samsung Smartthing and have voice control over lights and thermostat. Works perferctly!!

We use this everyday. It's great to check weather, ask scores of games and to play music without going to a computer or phone.

I use this to control the lights in my home, wake me up, shop amazon, play music, get the news. Easy to set up. Love it!

I bought amazon echo dot as Bluetooth speaker... but I use it as an assistant, skills make it more usable... a lot of fun!!!

I purchased the first generation of these last year for Christmas Gifts. They were a big hit. So this year, I purchased one for myself and several others to give as gifts. Once again, they were a big hit.

With Amazon Echo and Dots we are always using the shopping list skill. In my life, if it isn't written down it doesn't get bought. Out with the paper and pen. So good I bought dots for my daughter as well.

Great addition to your smart home. Takes up very little space. Pretty good sound playing amazon music.

Product is perfect for many things, is used to play my music and acts as my daily alarm clock. Haven't over slept once!

I have purchased a couple of these and set them up in different rooms. Great for streaming music and integrates with my Nest thermostat to control our home temp. Alexa deals have been a nice surprise too.

Small, good sound, and cost efficient. Also have my Dots in sync with the tower to have music in all rooms.

I purchased an echo dot and the first one kept resetting itself. I had to replace it from BB and the new one has no issues. The size of the dot is great. It does almost everything the Echo does...

Needed a speaker to play music and have phone calls while showering and in the tub. The sound is not as great as the Echo but still a quality device. If you want a speaker AND Alexa mixed go for the Echo.

Got this during the holiday sale price. I now have four of these and have no complaints. It may not have the best speaker quality but pair it with a decent bluetooth speaker and it functions just as well.

At first I was so against anything like this, but when it went on sale for $30 I figured why not at least try it. I have probably only used it for 1/50 of what it can be used for it and its already a lot.

Purchased as a gift for Xmas. Have one in the house already. Works great. Particularly like the way it connects to the music on our Amazon Prime account. Also, Alexa can be quite entertaining. Good price.

I think the Echo Dot was s a good product. It helps make some things easier around the house through the voice automation. I've used it to play music, turn on lights, change the temperature in the house, tell bedtime stories, tell time, get whether updates, set timers while cooking, and set alarms. I've got Echo Dots in the house. I would be nice if while playing music in one room, you could transfer the same music the another room with a another Echo Dot. I gave 4 stars mostly because I have all apple products and the Echo Dot hasn't intergrated with any apple products or services, probably not through any fault of their own. But for what the Echo Dot is and for what it does, it does it well.

I already have an echo and wanted to connect to my surround sound. This was perfect. Easy setup and amazing sound now.

I really hate falling prey to the latest trappings of technology, so I adamantly refused to purchase one of these things. I mentioned the sale price to one of my friends, who is very much like me, and she went on and on about how great Alexa was. I admit I was intrigued, so I purchased with credits on my account. I even refused to set it up for a month! I don’t know why I waited so long...I LOVE IT! Amazing gadget! And so easy to set up. I’m a believer...and a sheep! Lol!

I already own an Amazon echo and wanted one in the bedroom so I purchased this product. I find that the mics on the Echo Dot are better than the original and can hear me from different corners of the room. It's great to have one on the night stand for news and my home automation needs. Best part about this Echo is the ability to add external speakers which in my opinion makes it better than the original because you don't have to sacrifice sound quality and still benefit from Alexa integration.

Use it in connection with wireless plugs and listening to music. It works every time.
