We have one echo.and decided to get one for each of our teenage children. How awesome was it to buy them for less than $30 on Black Friday. Going to be the perfect gift for those who have everything

I like this product. The sound is good and it has been used a lot in my house. Love to listen to music and we have used it for spelling questions. We even used it one night to find a restaurant

me and husband just enjoy the product. He has set it up to control my bedroom lights and also programmed the voice activation for me for alarms, Tv and my busy schedule to remind me. WE just love it

The Echo was easy to set up and use. Love having weather info and playing my favorite music just by asking outloud. I only gave 4 stars because I think Alexa still has alot to learn.

I purchased the Amazon Dot as an addition to the Echo I got a few months ago. The Echo worked well and has proved a great addition to my household and lifestyle. I use it to control my Phillips Hue lights and Nest thermostat, in addition to having it play music, give the weather, play trivia games, set timers and alarms, etc. The Dot expands this functionality to my bedroom which is upstairs and out of earshot of the Echo in my living room. Very happy with my Alexa family.

This is great to have in a room if you have your home smart ready. I have the Amazon echo and two dots. The house works great on all the devices including the wifi thermostat and the smart door lock

Had to have another one! I purchased the full version of the Echo a while back. My wife was very skeptical, she didn't think it was worth it. Just had to have her ask Alexa once - "Hey Alexa, play this" and she was sold. Had to purchase the dot for the other room. Have it paired with a Bluetooth soundbar, and it's awesome. Perfect for asking time, temperature, where a certain movie is playing, etc. Great little alarm clock too. Will probably have to get another one next time they go on sale. The built-in speaker is functional. That's about it. If you want to use this for music - make sure you have a bluetooth speaker to go with, or get the full tower Echo.

Easy to ask it what the temp is on the way out the door, or get the latest news. We also use it to control IRIS outlets.

I love asking alexa for help with stuff. She plays all my favorite stations and even raps when asked!

I now have 2 in the house and love them!! Only slightly annoying thing is when it hears something on the TV and says "I don't understand your question" at 2am. Scared me first time it happened. lol

We decided to try some thing new. After talking with a very helpful geek at Best Buy, we settled on the Echo Dot. It was easy to setup (even for me) & has been very interesting learning all it can do. The speaker on the Dot is much better then I expected. We have also matched with a blue-tooth speaker for even more volume. She gives us the headlines & weather every morning & plays our selections from Pandora. We are very happy with the advise we received & the product.

Echo Dot is an excellent integration device from which I control my Sonos speakers, Christmas lights, patio lights, music selection....and the list goes on. The integration experience is excellent.

Have Alexa all over my house. Use them for everything from controlling lights, AC, and listening to music.

For the price of this item, it can't be beat for what services this device offers. Small footprint for this device, crisp and clear sound when "Alexa" speaks and also when listening to music. I've since hooked this up to my 500 watt surround sound system and it sounds incredible. My only negative is that the DOT doesn't have the dial functionality of turning the top of the unit clockwise to increase the volume (it has + and - buttons to control this feature).

I use the echo dot daily to act as a sound machine at night and give me the news in the morning. I love it!!!

Easy setup and decent sound quality as compared to its size

The entire "Alexa" line is the best! I have several Echo's in the house and now several dots. It comes in handy when you have a thought pop in your head for your shopping list and just lean over and verbalize it. Later it's on your Amazon tablet or computer ready to print. The dot really shines if you hook it up to a stereo system with huge speakers. Add your own music or Prime and it works like a charm!! Many other skills....too many to mention. It's the best $50 you'll ever spend!

I bought one and gave rave reviews on it so amy aunt so what I had to say and told me to pick her up one too. She loves it as much as I do!!! One of my favorite things is my 4 year old granddaughter is special needs and her speech is not perfect BUT Alexa understands almost everything she says and asks her to do!!! Talk about thrilling a little girl!!! She will always say I DID IT!!! She loves for Alexa to play toddler radio from Pandora and is always asking her the time :)
