Ever since I bought Amazon Echo Dot in June, I am recommending and gifting it to people. I believe its an excellent addition to your house and a value for money gateway to the smart home era. Easy integration and setup with all the equipment. Can't beat design quality and efficiency. Utility can be maximized if you have all the premium subscriptions such as spotify, pandora, amazon music etc. Overall for the price, amazon's best product yet.

I got this for my sons who fight over our Echo. I like the small size, and the sound is great!

Bought this as a gift for my Mom on Mothers Day as she had indicated she wanted an Echo. I didn't want to overwhelm her with a full size Echo,so this one is perfect, very small and compact but with all the features of the full size Echo speaker. Within minutes she was up and running, asking Alexa questions and even playing music from Spotify. She loved the gift and I think this is one of those types of items that even non techy type people will love too.

Alexa is quite an innovation ....but...I feel I am not ready for one yet. As cool as it is and all, most people might think they can ask Alexa almost anything. That is not the case. I was disappointed that the new Costco store in Wesley Chapel wasn't in the database when asked what the Store Hours were. It only located the Brandon Costco. I could pull that WC Costco info up on the internet. Alexa is great for playing music and basic questions. I found myself getting annoyed with it after 3 or 4 unanswered basic questions... So it may be good for some but I'm feel this technology isn't advanced quite far enough to satisfy my inner nerd...

Easy setup. Actually works great on local radio stations via "tune-in" radio options. Surprisely good sound.

Works great and easy to use and it's very easy to connect to my pioneer receiver and has great sound by itself

the echo dot is such an amazing and helpful device. I have 5 of them now and with the new addition of multiroom audio this is easily the most versitile and worthwhile piece of home tech.

Maybe those clouds mean rain later? Ask Alexa. Movie night out? Don't even hesitate. Alexa works hard to provide extra comfort and knowledge with the little things in life. While not a fully artificially intelligent gadget, the Echo Dot is a wonderful addition to any household.

Great product! Translates spoken word amazingly well. Allows access to a vast Amazon music library and answers virtually any question. Only drawback is if you have a daughter named Alexa

Amazon's Echo Dot with Alexa is supportive as it is innovative. It is highly responsive to any voice and utilizes a whole set of skills (voice commands) to perform various events, such as play music, switch on or off lights, explain things off the web, tell you the time and date, and much more--she even develops new knowledge almost every day through the Alexa app. Definitely worth the purchase.

My main goal behind getting this was to have voice control over my smart lighting. I can say I now have two and have them controlling my lights by my voice. I just ordered something off Amazon using the Dot and it went worked great. If you are looking for Alexa and don't need the louder speaker the Dot is for you. Also, you can connect it to a Bluetooth speaker so you can still get some pretty good sound out of it when playing music via Amazon Music.

The Dot has everything the echo plus the bluetooth and direct speaker capability. Amazing sound thru my stereo.

I'm really digging the Alexa-enabled products from Amazon. I have both the Echo and the Dot. I purchased the Dot for use in my office. I have it connected via Bluetooth to a Tube Preamp that powers a pair of Tannoy monitors. The set up works quite well and the Dot has not let me down, even with poor Wi-Fi connectivity when playing Amazon Unlimited. Set up was a breeze and Best Buy had a better price on the Dot than Amazon, as well as availability. Recommended.

This a great product, We have a total of 5 in our home so we can do things as play music, turn lights on and off, even unlock doors. Do with a movie tell Alexa to turn off the tv. Laying bed reading and just need to dim the light as Alexa and she does it for you. I'm going to add one to my shop so when I'm working and need to order something I can tell Alexa and it gets over. If you have tried any of the lines of product, I would and you will see the potential

Works very well has built in speaker that plays well for mid size room. Can also blue tooth to external speaker

I have had the full sized Amazon Echo since it came out and have loved it ever since. The Dot has been an excellent addition to my home because it allows me to do everything the Echo does from an alternate location from within my home. The only difference is the lesser quality speaker that is slightly tinny compared to the Echo. Considering the size and price comparison, it is not truly a fair comparison. Well worth the price and excellent features.

This is great to have at beside for music, audible books, alarms, and anything else you need.

Great sound and price. I use the dot to listen to music, check my schedule and check out Amazon deals.

This device was easy to set up and sync to my Phillips hue. My grandkids love asking Alexa to play music.

We love the ability to schedule an alarm and choose a song to wake up our kids too. Also like being able to “drop in” on them for quick questions vs yelling up the stairs
