We keep finding new uses and skills for our Echo devices which means we keep adding more Dots. Our kids use them as alarm clocks and to set timers which has helped them stay on task.

I like the accessibility of Alexa and the numerous skills that are available through Amazon. It saves time and energy, frees hands for something else while you can do something else.

I've been reading about home automation and liked the idea of incorporating it into my home, so the first step was either this or Google Home. More reviewers favor Amazon over Google for their needs so I selected the Dot because it was cheaper and I'm glad I did. Loved the concept of it and I am on the way to controlling my devices via voice. Be forewarned, the additional accessories will add up in cost, so be sure this is what you want to do.

Works really well for a small puck. Connects with my stereo seamlessly and the speaker on it is not bad

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it! It has a great deal of features that he can enjoy and utilize to his benefit. Plus we all can enjoy music and fun together.

Love the dot. Does everything I need it to do. Does everything from wake me up to play my music favorites.

Wasn't that interested in the original echo due to price, but the echo dot being much cheaper and essentially the same product convinced me to purchase a few. I have them connected to Bluetooth speakers anyway, so the larger built in speaker of the echo was unnecessary and wasn't all that impressive to begin with. If you have other smart home products and want to be able to control them by voice, I highly recommend these at this price point!

Works well. The speaker is decent for music. It doesn't get very loud. I would recommend.

I have been enjoying the Echo Dot. I should say we have been enjoying Echo. My husband and grandchildren put her to the test. Amazing how fast she responds. Bought one for a friend.

The dot works perfect for a bathroom which is what I bought it for or would be great for a bedroom but the speaker quality is definitely no where near as good as the full size Echo.

I bought this as a gift for my 13 year old daughter. She immediately downloaded the Alexa app on her phone and ordered pizza from it! I loved it so much that I bought one for myself.

We have a couple of full size Echos that we love. They work and sound terrific. But we also have a pretty complete home automation system (using HomeSeer) that works really well with Echo. The low price of the Dot lets us put them everywhere we want them without breaking the bank. The biggest difference between the Dot and the full size Echo is the speaker system. The Echo sounds really good, but the Dot isn't bad. For our use, the Dots are perfect!

Quick and easy set up. Great little speaker for the spare bedroom. Like the drop in features between echo devices. It's more convenient than yelling across the house.

Echo Dot is a great voice operated device. Alexa plays my music, gives me weather updates, orders items.

Because this was so cheap on Black Friday, I wanted to try this out. Works just like the TV commercials. Sound quality isn’t THAT great but I can listen to music when I’m showering.

I love my Amazon Dot so I bought several of them for gifts and all the gift recipients have told me that they absolutely love it! If you are considering purchasing one, just do it!

The Amazon Echo Dot is a fantastic device for streaming music. I subscribe to Amazon Music and for the Echo it only costs $3.99 for an unlimited amount of albums and songs from all eras of Music she's never missed a song or album I have asked her to play . Alexa is the neatest part. she gets My weather, sets the temperature of My furnace and Air conditioner just by asking her to turn the thermostat higher or lower. would definitely recommend.
