Since purchasing my Amazon Alexa Echo Dot from Best Buy I have found so many ways to save time. Using my Echo Dot for general knowledge questions, weather updates custom to my area, setting a timer, playing Jeopardy, and so much more is available on this smart home device making the Echo Dot user friendly enough for all age groups to enjoy. More than happy with my purchase.

Just like on TV it’s a great product and use it at least every 20 minutes

The things Alexa can do is pretty awesome, however a lot of update will be needed as she is not as smart is Siri, or "OK Google" also need to download the app to your device for her to work. Just be prepared if you are used to Sire or OK Google there will definitely be some hiccups. But I believe it will get there and for $40 you really can't complain too much. Made great stocking stuffers.

Easy to set up and works great for timer and weather info. Easy to ask google question without having to have cell in hand

I have Alexa set up in different rooms in my house. I decided I needed one in my work-home office. She is great ! I can ask her to spell words as a type, weather, etc. I also have her tied to my Apple Music Account and to my Apple phone so she can even dial calls for me.

very compact and easy to use but the sound is not as good as the bigger units if you are using it for music I would get the bigger units

This is a great device especially when you have to set your alarm or play music

Fun to use. Like the "Daily news briefing, weather, jokes, "verse of the day, being able to order pizza. Also controls my lights and thermostat.

I love my echo dot! It doesn't always hear me especially when the volume is turned up all the way and it playing music but there's a button on it that is equivalent to saying "alexa" so that solves my issue. Otherwise very helpful!

Alexa is like having a child that actually minds you! She’s wonderful at remembering everything, even all the groceries I tell her to add to my list.

Clear sound and easy to use plus it takes up very little space

This device is an inexpensive way to add streaming music and much more. I use it in my shop hooked up to Bose speakers for music and stuff. Cool toy.

No more missed items at the grocery store or any other store everything you tell Alexia you need appears on your phone app. No more alarms except for Alexia's gentle tones at an appointed hour given to her each night before going to bed. No more setting a laundry timer, just say"Alexia remind me to check the dryer in 30 minutes". Stop reading this review and buy the Echo Dot now.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALEXA!!!! You need to get you one ASAP she’s my everything... She works so well, I bought one for my entire family for Christmas!!

This is a great start for home automation. We use the Amazon Dot to control our Hue lights and to communicate with each other within our house home.

This device is so Amazing! I mainly purchased it for music streaming but it has plenty other helpful features too. I plan to buy one for every room.

In the past I have purchased 4 of theses. Now I have just purchased an additional 4. The are great! Once you get used to asking Alexa for the time, date, weather, news, music, your favorite radio station, kitchen timers, reminders, etc, you will not want to be without one. I also found this was a help for my aging mother to find out what day it is, etc.

I bought the Echo Dot to supplement my full size Echo. The sound quality is not as good, but that is to be expected with a smaller speaker. It is great for getting information and controlling smart plugs and other smart devices.

Love talking to Alexa. Sounds good playing music. Easy to learn.
