great item, alexa does everything and more! Alarm and music!

Couldn’t drive home after work during an intense snowstorm, so I stayed locally with friends. Having a great time talking about lots of things while making a pizza. I was blown away when she asked Alexa to time the pizza in the oven. Seriously? Then, she asked me what music I wanted to hear and Alexa would play it. That worked successfully. I bought my first Echo Dot quickly thereafter and a second Dot shortly after that. It’s been fun and worth the nominal cost!

I received my echo as a Christmas gift and im really impressed. There are a lot of different skills to enable to you can play games, work out, and many more. I like that I was able to hook up my Pandora account and listen to it on my echo. You can skip songs and Alexa will even tell you who sings the song if you ask. I cant wait until I get more things to hook up to it!

I was very surprised how accurate this box was. It recalls things like musical songs ,singers,bands,and at all levels. It answers local questions about time,weather and store locations. It will remind you of things to do or give you a wake up call when requested.It is limited only by your own ability to control its own features. I bought another one for my wife .

I bought this for my 9 year old great-nephew and he was so happy and excited that he couldn't wait to hook it up! I became the cool aunt!!

The Echo Dot keeps getting better and better. And now at $29, it is a fantastic value. How much do we like it? We've got five in our home!

Bought this for my 80 year old parents. Asked my brother-in-law to help them set it up (out of state). Didn't need to. My dad figured it out on his own. They LOVE it! Set up their favorite Pandora music to play through it, ask it questions all the time. They said it's like having a pet that keeps you company that you don't have to walk or feed, lol! Highly recommend.

Have several of these already and like the Smart Home concept a lot! This one was bought as a gift and works like the others (really cool!)

I got this Echo Dot as a Chirstmas gift and I am OBSESSED. I love how small and compact it is as I dont have much table top space to begin with. Alexa is so smart and always learning new things. I love all the added features you can do with her such as asking her to turn off the lights. I'm making all my friends get one and for the price, who wouldn't?!

I had one Echo in my living room area and found I was shouting and most often Alexa could not understand what I was saying. With this second dot it's great as I go to sleep or wake. Alexa does so many things. I sincerely enjoy the flash news in the morning, jokes, jeopardy and if o can't spell something too Alexa is there helping me. I think everyone should have this...

Works as described. Fairly easy to set-up. Meshes well with my Philips Hue smart light bulb setup. Handles simple tasks well.

I purchased an Echo Dot for myself in May. I love it. My grand daughter loves using it. This makes the perfect gift for her for Christmas.

Alexa with this echo dot is a great addition to any smart home enabled devices. It is also a great Bluetooth speaker for use with my phone

Alexa is cool, plain and simple. She knows a lot and is fun to interact with. However at the end of the day Alexa is supposed to be a tool. I have my Echo Dot hooked up to 4 Philips Hue lights and 1 smart plug. Alexa controls them all pretty well as long as you carefully set everything up. The Alexa ecosystem can still use a lot of work. Some skills are still quite glitchy and integration with other devices like Philips Hue and apps like Yonomi can be spotty. This will all hopefully be improved over time in software.

I picked up 3 of these for my Mom's house. She was having a problem with where her light switches are. When it was time to go to bed and she turned off lights in the front part of the house, it was too dark for her to comfortably walk to the bedroom. Now she leaves the lights on until she gets in bed and then just tells Alexa to Turn off the lights! Problem solved!

Alexa, play "Lovesong". Actually, this is one of several Echo Dots that we have. Alexa keeps me up to date on news, weather etc. She turns on the lights, plays sleep sounds, turns off the lights, makes coffee and on and on. This can be a life changing product. If you haven't tried it, you too can enjoy many benefits for a very small price. My suggestion, try it.
