As Amazon does not ship some electronics to Puerto Rico, I went to Best Buy to get an Amazon Echo Dot. It was at regular price while on amazon was 10 dollars cheaper. For my surprise, Best Buy sent me a $10.00 gift card/bar code via email days after the purchase. Great product to get your smart home together.

Alexa is all i wanted and it's all i got. It's not a bad thing, but i love it. Connect to my wifi and then set it up through the app. Connect my smart items and everything works!

We enjoyed our first Echo Dot so much, we added another in the bedroom. Also added lights that can be controlled by voice command. Great for when you're tired and don't want to get out of bed to turn the lights off! Plus so many other cool things: weather, controls the thermostat. Echo Dots are great.

very easy to setup, i use it to know weather, news, turn on off light, fan and electric kettle with my voice command. speaker is good, loud and has a 3.5 mm plug for my music system when kids wants to hear music. it tell flight details, news and GK questions all on voice command.

Easy set up. Can link to other echos through the app. Impressed sound as good for small device.

This is my second Echo Dot. For the price this is great smart home device controls my smart plugs and music.

I bought the Amazon echo dot for my mother for Christmas. She absolutely loved it. Was thinking of getting her the Echo Plus but starting out with the smaller one first is the way to go. She’s finding new things to do with it everyday. Thinking about getting a couple more for other rooms in the house.

If you're looking for a cloud-based voice controlled product, this is the way to go. It gives you all the same features as the other echo devices, but for an amazing price. All competitors in the market have nothing on Amazons echo dot, love the amount of skills available to control your daily functionality.

We have the original Amazon Echo in our house and a couple of dots. We recently moved into a larger home and needed some additional dots to scatter about and these were on sale for a little less than normal. Very great product to help control your smart home as well as help the teenager with her homework.

Works great as an add on to my Alexa Show. May need to add several more to give better whole house coverage.

I purchased this as a gift for my gadget loving husband. He was torn between this and the google home, but after doing some research I couldn't beat the $49 price tag versus the $120 for the home. Once he loaded his apps and shared his ITunes with Alexa, we ready to explore what Alexa could do. Good purchase!!

If you are an avid Amazon shopper that takes advantage of kindle, audible, and other Amazon services Alexa is perfect for you. If not, you may want to look at a different product than the Echo Dot. Amazon's Alexa is smart when it comes to ordering items from Amazon, reading books, and other little gimmicks, but falls short when you ask simple questions. Google Home and Cortana can easily cover these questions with more ease.

I love this echo it's fun, it's important. Has a nice feel when you use it. This thing actually gets smarter.

Especially if you have Amazon Prime account, it syncs with many devices, has many applications and skills, The easiest way to turn your house into a smart home. in case you don't have the infrastructure, provide notifications about your Amazon shopping and orders, Fun to play or play music.

I purchased this to integrate with Samsung smartthings to control the lighting in our home. It works well with 99% accuracy is response to what we want it to do and 99% of time it recognizes what we want it to do. It's easy to setup, just follow the instructions. More than one account can be used without any issues.

Have the large Echo and now the Dot. Dot is more than sufficient and having the speaker jack makes it a hit

These are good to use as add ons to put Alexa in other room of the house. I wouldnt use this for a primary.

We love her for the most part. There's a ton of things you can ask her, but there's also a lot of things she can't answer. However, she's updating every week and enabled to do more and more. I also programmed her with a Google skill, which enables her to use Google when Alexa doesn't have an answer. Must be an Amazon Prime member to do a lot of the other things, which they don't really advertise. Overall, fun for the family for fifty bucks.
