Alexa is a pretty cool AI. Her jokes are funny and a little quirky. Works well with the hue lights i have.

This is our 3rd echo dot. Connected the 3 for use throughout the home. So far has been a great experience.

We now have an Amazon Echo product in almost every room. The echo dots are so convenient, easy to put in a bathroom, or spare bedroom, or even the kids' rooms. Convenient to connect them in groups, play music, set alarms, use as intercoms, etc. Cannot imagine life without them now.

This works great as an alternate to the Echo. I like how the app is used to set everything up. Makes things a lot easier. I use it with Smarththings and Hue bulbs to control my lights and it works great. It's in the bedroom and they have pretty cool ambience sounds that you can play to help you fall asleep.

She responds to anything I ask her. It’s like having my own personal assistant. Would highly recommend her

Best addition to my stereo system- no longer searching for channels or selecting other components. Ask Alexa to play any of the music apps and type or artist- plus volume makes my music day complete. Alexa in the other room does not interfere with Dot listening closer the system performs perfectly.

Alexa is a nice addition to the morning routine. I like being able to check the weather and the news while I make breakfast and pack my lunch for the day. Now that I have connected several Bluetooth speakers to the Dot, I can play music all over my house and effortlessly change speaker locations.

I have Echo Tap which I needdd for portability. So I'm used to the features of Echo. But Echo dot changed the whole experience. It is amazing to see that it can listen to you from anywhere in the house and respond is awesome. It is highly versatile. I am planning to buy one more for bedroom. Highly recommend.

I bought it on Black Friday with $29.99. I also bought a smart plug mini with only $5. It was a good deal.

Although this version is very outdated as of this review, it's still relevant in today's market. Sound and microphone work as needed and the AI is the same version as newer iterations, due to updated support.

The echo is a marvel of a device in the sense of how it utilized Alexa and far field detection. Speaker quality for music streaming is somewhat lacking, however you can add a Bluetooth or aux speaker to it, mine is connected to my home theater receiver via Bluetooth. Excellent voice recognition for Philips hue. I also have been using the Mastermind app for it to read phone notifications and make calls/texts without the Amazon app.

I bought a Eco Dot for myself after I heard coworkers talking about them. I'm pleased to say after buying one when it was on sale I am impressed. I can easily pick songs to play, get sports updates, and do more with this device. I may not use it all the time, but I do enjoy it when I do. The only con is when it has trouble finding what I want or not supporting a feature. For the most part I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I wasn't really sure what the echo dot could do until I did some extensive research and then purchased it! It is awesome, and buying the smart devices to make your home a smart home is really cool. I have had her for about a month and I know I haven't even scratched the surface when it comes to her capabilities.

I am happy with the dot and what it can do for the Black Friday pricing. Sets up nice and works well with the other 3 echo’s and ecobee. Sound is ok for basic listing of music

I absolutely love my Amazon Echo. I have half of the house automated and it really has made my life easier.

It's a good device to use in a small study or bedroom. A 24-7 alarm and has all your music at hand.

Not only can it help you by making lists and answering questions, but it can be a lot of fun. We have had company where everyone has asked crazy questions or asked for jokes and we have a ball. It cannot answer everything you ask but some of the time it will give you a link you can click to find out more info.
