I wasn't sure initially when I bought this what I would use it for. Now I find it convenient to use for simple Google searches and to listen to radio stations. Also handy to get local weather.

Bought the Dot as my first jump into home automation. Bought a home bridge to pair with the Dot. I can now use the Dot to control my home lights in all my rooms. The setup was easy with the Alexa app. The speakers are loud and good enough for a bedroom. It paired easily to my wifi. Amazon is constantly updating the app and Alexa so it should get better.

I was very skeptical about the Amazon Echo. So, I waited to purchase one and eventually decided on the Dot. I did this because it is cheaper and I didnt need the upgraded speaker. To this date the Dot has been very useful and I look forward to more updates.

One of my favorite gadgets. Very useful. Have light switches connected, but the best connection is the Harmony Remote. Use to take 3 remotes to switch from cable to Netflix. Now, I ask Alexa to switch to Netflix and she takes care of it. Outstanding!!!

Great addition for playing music works great with Bluetooth speakers

Got the Echo as part of a promo with a wireless thermostat and didn't really expect to use it much but set it up and now use it all the time. Super easy to use and pretty functional especially since you can link it to a more powerful bluetooth speaker as well!

Once you get past the fact that these devices are always on and listening, they become quite functional as alarms, intercoms, weather stations, games, etc. Our family has adopted Alexa and I have integrated her with our other smart home features.

You gave to have is companion product to go along with the Echo. I love it.

Great addition to anyone that already have an another Echo device within their home. The echo dot's speaker is not that great but it can be paired with a Bluetooth enabled speaker. It can also be a great addition to another room within your apt

I was a little skeptical that having Alexa would benefit my day to day to life, but I have to say there have been some definite benefits. I love having routines established to automatically turn on lights and play music. Truly, it's a great tool!

The amazon echo dot is the perfect device that does the same as the big one.

Amazon is producing affordable product and well made the echo dot is great.

The Dot makes making a smart house very easy. It also has many useful apps.

The speaker is not as good as the echo, but it's still great for the price.

I bought this after installing one for my 80 year old parents. They had so much fun asking her questions, that I just had to get one for myself. I hooked it up to my stereo and love getting news, weather reports, and music with a simple verbal request.

This took a while to get set up. Unable to find music at this point. Hoping it can pull from a library as opposed to a streaming service.

I purchased an echo as my main unit and was looking to add another for my upstairs. The dot was perfect. It does not have the same sound quality of the echo but works well. It is easy to add an allows for cost effective way to grow your Amazon addiction.

Love my Alexa. This was my second one. I wish it would connect to my iPhone
