Easy set up. great app that works with it. Great speaker

We now have 3 Echo dots in our home to run our lights, thermostat and to do other things around the house. There are times when Alexa doesn't understand or complete the command, but we can't all be perfect. Best part is, when my hands are full, I just tell her what I want and its done! Was fairly easy to set up and connect to my lights as well. Highly recommend!!

I bought a bunch of these for Christmas presents when they were $29 and gave them to my sisters and their kids. Everyone loved them and were really excited to get them home and try them out. My phone was blowing up with thank you text messages.

The dot was easy to setup. Just follow instructions. I have our dot connected to samsung smartthings, nest, capital one, denon receiver for bluetooth speakers. Voice recognition is about 99%. Rare anomaly where the dot wakes up and responds to what it hears.

Does everything the 3rd generation does. The only real difference is speaker quality. The 3rd generation speaker is WAY BETTER. If you don’t use it for music, save a few dollars with this one.

I love my echo it's so easy to use. It was easy to program my phone to it.

Bough as a gift and loved that it was in stock with plenty of accessories.

Gift for octogenarian mom. Not sure she gets how it works.., but it helps.

This is definitely a luxury item. I bought it for my sisters boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. I have one at home, and it will take time to explore Alexis full potential. For the basic things like asking her the weather and to play music.

I bought the echo dot for my dad as a Christmas present. He is going to be 70 years old. I was not sure if he would be into it but he loves it! My mom is mad that he talks to Alexa more then to her. Great product for any age and it is priced so reasonably.

Amazon Echo is great! It can do so many things that you ask it. We all love it for the variety of music it will play! Love asking it questions & getting the answer right away! Love it for help with homework. Makes making grocery lists a lot easier!

My second Dot, I put it in the kitchen mainly for lists, music and timers.
