Great for ordering on Amazon and playing prime music, plus when you need to know something like measurements conversion Alexa is on it. A Bluetooth receiver is great to have to work with this unit, or just get a Bluetooth adapter to plug into old stereo.

These are Christmas presents. Hope everyone enjoys theirs as much as I do.

Use way more Than I thought I would. Just bought a second one for my room.

The Dot really surprised me. The Alexa voice sounds completely natural. And for such a small device the sound is excellent and full bodied. As for what Alexa can do, there is a catalog of hundreds of skills that she can learn. She is both useful and fun.

Bought this because of reviews and because I have multiple smart hubs. It connected to everything except my Lennox thermostat but they keep adding new software and products so I'm sure that will happen soon. I can now control most of my home just by voice.

This is our second Echo Dot in our home. We have one in the kitchen and one in the back living room We use it to listen to music, make grocery lists, check weather and ask it many questions. We absolutely love having it.

I wasn't sure initially when I bought this what I would use it for. Now I find it convenient to use for simple Google searches and to listen to radio stations. Also handy to get local weather.

For the price you cannot beat the Echo Dot. Sound is not the best for music streaming in a larger room, but bluetooth hookup to an external speaker or HT system is easy for improved sound. If you are a Prime Member it is a no-brainer purchase.

Love my alexa dot. I do alotta baking and uses it for the timer, uses it to find out answers to curious questions. Since I have 2, I can call upstairs from the one downstairs. With the two sync I can play music on both at the same time.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Combined with her Firestick and our hue lights it makes things really great. We even signed up for Amazon music for an even better experience. I love that it works with a Bluetooth speaker.

We are in love with our Dot; I can't imagine what we did before Alexa. We now own three of them...one at the house, one to travel with and one we just sent off to college with our daughter. The sound quality of this little speaker is beyond amazing.

I started off with the Amazon Alexa and then got an Echo for my office. I now have a couple of them. The price is great and once you have one setup, you can use the others with the exact same commands if they are going to be part of the same account.

Alexa is great fun for the whole family.we like playing jeopardy the most.

Purchased on Black Friday price works great with my insteon hub reason for the dot purchase. Every day I find more things this can do. Great for getting info and other tasks along with turning lights on or off setting timers controlling my thermostat etc.

Future step kids loved these as gifts this year. They love all of the great features especially the alarm & the music selections. My boyfriend is not quite up to speed with his, but thanks to the Alexa tutorials I keep getting, he'll be a pro in no time.

Use it for music, alarm, news and talking between rooms.
