I am glad I purchase this device for my home. It is easy to use and great to asking questions, remember information you might need, telling stories, playing your favorite music, etc. I really enjoyed this device.

I really enjoy being able to control different things around the house.

Upon moving into a new home, I felt we would try the Echo Dot and with a bigger house I felt two would be beneficial. It took a few weeks into the house before the Dots were even unwrapped. Once plugged in and set up by our daughter, both my husband and myself are hooked. At night we listen to a book from our Prine account. Before bed we check the weather to know what kind of clothes for work are to be worn. (Texas temps. vasilate between one extreme to the other) The cool updates from first generation to these are awesome. As we can use them as intercoms from one part of the house to the other. I am thinking if you have great internet speed, these are the best additions to your home. We will be looking into changing our thermostats next to jive with the dots.

Very easy to setup and fun for the family. Alexa, make me laugh. Alexa, what's the weather tomorrow. Alexa, play me the hand clap song. I can't wait for Amazon Echo to integrate with our Sonos sound system -- Amazon, make the kitchen Sonos louder!!!!

I bought this for my home to control all my smart devices. It is great for all the add-on skills that I can add to connect to all those 3rd party smart devices like lutron, hue and ecobee. And it works great with the voice control. Love it!!

This was a gift purchased for my husband. Great gadget! Only downfall is that you have to download all your music to get it to play.

We bought the dot to give it a try and it is awesome! We liked it so much that we ended up buying the Echo (which has a larger speaker). We put the dot in our bathroom and love getting updates and listening to music while getting ready!

Does everything the bigger Echo does but does not have the same speaker capability. I bought this for my husband for Valentines Day and he loves it. We use it in our bedroom and it works perfectly. Love that they are adding new skills all the time.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my teenage son and he absolutely loves it. Every morning I hear him ask it for the weather and I've heard him ask it questions when he needs help with homework. We haven't had any issues with it.

it's awesome alexa,even if is a little complicated but I guess that will get better with time,to many steps to get things connected.

But it could in the future. This thing is amazing! I even control my lights with it! Definitely pick one up if you use Amazon a lot!

Great item. Has all of the features of a full size Echo, for a lot less money, just without the large speaker. The included speaker is adequate for a small room, but if you plan on using it to listen to music, you'll need to attach a better speaker.

Works same as the echo plus. This is the start of having a smart home.
