This is something i used every day. I have connected to other speakers around my house so I dont miss anything. I have got the change to use the intercom function yet. Also you have the option to add application and home accessories to it

I have an Echo in the main living area/kitchen open space and purchased a few Echo Dots to use throughout my house--bedroom and bathrooms. Love pairing it with my bluetooth speaker and getting the news and playing music while I wake up or get ready.

Works great, but if you are wanting it as a speaker you need to go with the Big Echo. Even the small google has more speaker power.

Love this thing as an alarm clock and to get informed on weather and news. From your bed you can ask for the time or to create a new alarm. Feel much more relaxed in the mornings. Nice to have Alexa stream my music. Still many features I have yet to use as I need to purchase comparability items but so far it's worth the money just for the bedtime features.

The echo is fun and useful for everyone. My grandkids use it everyday.

Alexa is running my entire home tvs Xbox and lamps. Wonderful product.

I give it a 4/5 because I love Alexa her self and all that the dot does but the app's navigation is so weird and hard to find stuff

Echo dot is a very useful device. Stand alone and it's even get way better when you have smart home devices connected to it. You literally don't have to lift a finger to get things done. Just tell Alexa what you'd like to be done and that's it.

Love the Dot! It may not have the sound quality of the Echo, but it's great having this in my bedroom to set alarms, timers, control lights, etc.,, without needing to be heard in another room. (I have the Echo in my living room.). Glad I got this.

One of the first questions people usually ask when talking about an Echo Dot is what would you really use it for. We actually have 4 Dots in our home. You can ask questions such as measurement conversions, what the weather is like, and many more. We have ours liked to our Samsung Smarthings hub and can use voice commands to turn lights on and off. You can add "Skills" just by going in the Amazon Alexa app. Some the the skills we use are: Sleep Sounds - you can have you Echo Dot play sounds like rain or the ocean to help you go to sleep, SiriusXM - if you have a subscription to SiriusXM you can use the Echo Dot like a receiver, just say Alex play 80s on 8, Hyundai Blue like - I can use the Echo Dot to start my Elantra and even have the temperature set for when I get in. There are so many more skills that I haven't even looked at yet.
