    I purchased 3 of these for my home. Setup took hardly any time at all once the Alexa app was installed on my tablet. Despite the compact size the sound quality of the built-in speaker is pretty good. Voice recognition interface is pretty good right out of the box, although there are a couple of skills that Alexa has trouble starting because of the names.

    This is my third Echo Dot for my house (along with my main Amazon Echo in the living room). I love being able to control all of my lights (TP Link, LIFX) and thermostats (ecobee3). It's a fun little device and I find more uses for it every day.

    I got the Echo Dot to go with my Echo. I liked the Echo so much that I decided to get the Dot for another room in the house. Works great with my Bluetooth speaker. I hope at some point we will be able to connect like the Google device does.

    My daughter was very happy with Echo Dot2. I was surprise as well. It does what it’s supposed to do and my kids love it. Set up was easy and user friendly. Looking to purchase one for my wife as well. Overall great product!

    So far it seems ok. Don’t like that you have to have amazon music to play certain songs. But so far, has answers to all questions.

    I had just bought 2 more Dot's. This now makes 3 in our home. Just want to add 1 more. I use Alexa for all appointments and reminders. The questions you can ask Alexa are a time saver for us vs getting on the computer to look up something.

    Enjoy the automation and the ability to connect ring door bell and amazon fire stick to dot. Can have Alexa display amazon prime videos and music. Also ring doorbell shows up on tv if I ask her to display it to fire tv
