Hey Alexa - I love the Echo Dot. This has a great small footprint and and has become a staple in almost every room of our house. From music, to communication amongst the different rooms of the house, this is a must have for any house!!

I had just bought 2 more Dot's. This now makes 3 in our home. Just want to add 1 more. I use Alexa for all appointments and reminders. The questions you can ask Alexa are a time saver for us vs getting on the computer to look up something.

The Dot is a great addition to any room. It can play music, trivia, give the scores or weather report, check on a recipe, etc. I have yet to hook it into a "smart home" setup, but it would be cool to be able to dim the lights by voice.

We use this in a room with a 3 and 5 year old boy. It serves as their dance party/music karaoke machine as well as the occasional intercom to holler at them if needed. They love having it in their room to listen to the songs they want.

I like the help in the kitchen, my 11 yr old son loves sports updates, my 16 yr old daughter loves asking random stuff ie population of cats... lol but most of all my 7 yr old autistic son thinks he has a new friend one who always answers... lol

This is my third Echo Dot for my house (along with my main Amazon Echo in the living room). I love being able to control all of my lights (TP Link, LIFX) and thermostats (ecobee3). It's a fun little device and I find more uses for it every day.

I purchased 3 of these for my home. Setup took hardly any time at all once the Alexa app was installed on my tablet. Despite the compact size the sound quality of the built-in speaker is pretty good. Voice recognition interface is pretty good right out of the box, although there are a couple of skills that Alexa has trouble starting because of the names.

Love this thing. It is like living in the future. Once you have it connected to smart plugs you can control your home with your voice. And Alexa seems to always understand what I am saying and gives a quick answer.

I am an old man (54), but I love a new fun Project. Smart Home is now on my list and the Echo Dot is the way to go! It's inexpensive and is a good beginner starting platform to begin your smart home journey. Buy it. You won't be sorry.

This is my third Alexa Dot. I'm covered wherever I go in the house. These little devices are so handy. Baking, cleaning, weather, just curious? Ask Alexa a clear, concise, reasonable question and she will do her best to find an answer.

This product the Echo Dot is the best money ive spent.I bought 4 of them . Make sure you let Geek Squad show you how to maximize Alexas capabilities, She can read you book. order pizza, play a game...play music.. I would be lost with out her.

I had previously purchased the Alexa device and was impressed. I bought the Echo Dot as an add on for another room in our residence. It performs just as good and the price Best Buy offered it for was the lowest I had seen. Very happy.

Bought to control my Lifx lights without having to pickup my phone. Paired no problem and planning to purchase wifi outlets to go with it. Only negative was tried to pair with a small Bluetooth speaker and told me speaker was not Amazon Music compatible. Will have to look into this because I know your supposed to be able to hook it up to a stereo.

this is much better than the big echo. It doesn't have a lot of sound but you can hook up a Bluetooth speaker. I have both and there is no other difference. I have a $50 speaker linked to it and it sounds much better than the big one. no brainer.

This is an amezing gift, now I’m connected with family via intercom.

I think it's fun but if you don't know what you're doing can be hard

I bought one of the at holiest and paired it with my Samsung wireless speaker. It worked so well that I bought 3 more for each of the kids' rooms. Now I can use them like an intercom system to tell them when it's time for dinner, etc.
