I love my new echo dot, I'm still learning it but it's a lot of fun

also have the larger echo. only real difference is quality of speaker, which is wanting on the dot but the other features are top-notch and definately worth the price for a bedroom, or other smaller room. nice item and would recommend it highly

Ok, so the Echo Dot can pretty much do anything without having a computer on. Unfortunately, it does not do dishes (Yet!). I have it linked to some smart outlets in my home. Yes, it can make you lazy, but that's the whole idea.

I use this product all the time to make a shopping list, set timers for laundry and food, call friends, listen to music, and of course check the weather. The Echo offers so many fun opportunities such as games, jokes, and so much more.

Added this upstairs, works great with our Echo to cover whole house

The Amazon Echo Dot makes a great gift for birthdays, holidays, housewarmings, etc. Everyone we give one to loves it. You can never have enough of them around the house for bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, dens, everywhere!

Having the Echo dot has been great. I thought with the relatively low price this would be great to start our home automation experience since we already had the Nest thermostat. However all the accessory pieces such as plugs and switches are quite pricey. I paid $39 dollars for one plug just so we could get our nightstand lights to turn on and off.

It is a Christmas gift for my wife and I am sure she will love it!!

Every morning I ask the echo dot what is the weather, and what the traffic looks like. It also turns off my lights in the living room. It's gotten much better at answering questions lately, I can only expect it will get better with time.

Really works as a personal assistant! Lol I love my Alexas at home.

I don’t use this as much as my Echo Show, but my daughter loves it. She is always asking Alexa questions. I originally had it hooked to my Amazon firestick, but I ended up hating my firestick. The speaker is very clear for its size.

I didn't realize how much I needed an Assistant. Until I got Alexa.
