I'm not using it as an assistant. I just want it to play my music all day long and it is great .. !! Sound quality, is not the best out there, but look at the size and price of it, it's great! My opinion, totally worth it

I really like what echo does but it is still too limited. I would like to be able to connect other email accounts besides gmail and have access to my desktop music without putting it all on an amazon account. I hope to be able to control my samsung smart tv sometime soon too. I love having my hue lights and a/c connected to it though.

He loves it using record player with speakers to play songs from his phone also using it in the car because its portable

I already have an Echo and I bought the Dot to use the "Drop In" feature in the kids room. It was super easy to set up and it works perfectly. I'm extremely glad I purchased this and even more happy that I bought it on sale!!!

The echo dot may be a toy for some but it is an electronic device that is extremely useful merely ask Alexa a question and it will respond with an intelligent answer almost immediately. It also has many other functions. Great product

Very impressed with such a small device and the things this can do amazing a must have also if you have kids definitely set a parental password And you also can change its name Alexa, Amazon echo it's in the settings you must get

Excellent product, i have two and an Echo. Must have! I use one in my bedroom, one in my office and our Echo lives in the kitchen. All play our music. The dot has decent sound, good enough for listening to low, relaxing, work music.

So, that being said, that should tell you how much I personally like these things!!! I have 50 hue lights, Alarm.com, my AMEX account, Automatic pro acct. & several other things, & it flawlessly controls everything! I love it!!!

I love it we use them every day. We have one in each bedroom and living room Game room and kitchen. Its great for call ing people to dinner, or whatever. we can listen to music thru them also. still learning everything.

My family and I enjoy having Alexa to tell us stories and jokes. I look forward to my news brief. I almost feel like Iron Man with Javis on hand. Buying it at Best Buy guarantees that you'll have it the same day. I would recommend.

I have to stream my favorite radio station and the echo dot makes it so simple! I bought it on sale and wish now I'd gotten more than one. Only thing I'd change is that I wish it was portable (i.e., it could be used without external power.) It's also great fun to be able to ask general interest questions like, "How do I move to Canada?"

Serves it purpose to give me information while I am cooking.
