Echo Dot - it's an Alexa cookie!

The microphone is good. The speaker is OK but not great. It's a little soft in a loud room. It has an audio out and bluetooth if you want to connect it to a better speaker. As an additional Alexa device, you can't beat the price.

With a Amazon Music subscription, the voice activation makes it easy to play just about any song she can think of .

Ok if your not planning to use it much

Echo dot is not as seamless or responsive as it’s larger counter part. I would skip this one and get the 2nd gen if you aren’t looking to use it a lot for home automation or music. If you are, go ahead and get the Echo Plus.

LOVE IT!

If you are looking for weather reports anywhere just ask. If you want to know anything about history, just ask. I don't think I could do without it now.

LOVE the Echo Dots

You can't have too many AND because the sound produces such good quality in a small unit, they can replace almost any audio system!
