Didn't need the speaker, more expensive model since I have other Bluetooth speakers that Alexa can connect to. Would like to see more connected features/optiins added.

Great little Gadget

Controls my Philips Hue lights, and I can stream music to my blue tooth speaker. It does a lot more, but that's my main use for it.

It's fun but not as good as Google Home

Alexa is not the most knowledgeable and seems to not know the answer to all the questions you may have. It's a decent speaker and for the basics it's pretty good.

We probably only use a small fraction of her capabilities. She can basically be your Google, radio, alarm clock, scheduler, and timer all in one. Highly recommended.

Nice Companion product

BestBuy had a deal for Echo products last week and didn't miss to get the Echo dot for $35. Alexa is awesome!! It understands everyone in our household right from a 4 year old! (We are not native english speakers). We had difficulties with Siri earlier so this was amazing. Also from a couple of videos from youtube, was able to create a Alexa-Google skill, so guess what now my echo dot can talk to Google and get all the details that Google Home can, except few things. This $49 product has such a big scope towards your home automation. And you can practically make it talk to any other product in the household. Overall a best buy for my $35.
