I love this gadget, easy to set up. I’m using it everyday and it’s very useful. I use it for reminders, checking weather and forecast, listening to music, and general questions.

I love echos regardless of type. The dots went on sale and BestBuy matched my price with Amazon. Love these little things. Great for stocking stuffers. (When on sale).

I have five echo dots, an echo spot and an echo show set up in my house. They work perfectly together. I control all my lighting and thermostat with them. Alexa rocks!

Got this for my daughter so that she could use it while I enjoyed my Google Home. This has been really impressive and also connects to my stereo through bluetooth. Highly recommended.

Use my echo dot all the time. I have mine connected to the surround sound upstairs. I have an Echo in the kitchen that the wife also uses constantly. Easy to set up and even easier to use.

The packaging is small since the Dot is about the size of the palm of your hand. The set-up was pretty simple. The Dot is not a google you can't just ask it questions about everything and it finds you the answer. Instead you have to download the application associated with the Dot and download apps or enable skills you want to program it with. Occasionally you can ask Alexa a question that she has already been programmed with. For instance, "Alexa what is your New Years Resolution?" or "Alexa what is the weather like?" Yes you must always say her name before asking a question. Otherwise she will not respond. It is my understanding the more you use Alexa the more she does. One of the features I like is that Alexa can remind you about your appointments or special events. The Dot does come with a USB Cord but you will need a charger. The volume is nice and music does play well. I would recommend the Dot for a person who has an apartment or small space.

Didn't know much about Alexa until after my adult son got one for the holidays. Saw him use his and had to get one for myself. Great for checking the weather setting alarms and timers Etc

Okay, maybe I'm a geek but having this little buddy next to my desk is fun. Incredible how far voice recognition has come...she never misses what I am saying.

Bought one for everyone at my sister's house for xmas. First step to getting the smart house they always wanted. The kids (and brother in law) love playing games with Alexa!

the alexa echo dot is a great item for checking weather and playing music. The on board speaker is ok but with a simple patch cord you can connect to a stereo and the sound is awesome.

Useful all over the house to control everything from tv to lights- bought an extra one at a great price on Black Friday- returned only because got another one as gift!

Simple easy to use product. I use multiple dots across my home to control multiple products. I like how I can call my kids down from there room while using Alexa.

We have two of these devices and they work great. It pairs with multiple smart devices: TV, lights, and smart plugs. Only thing lacking is it needs specific commands. Overall good product.

It's fun to test Alexa. Played music, asked questions, played games. My daughter received an Echo for Christmas and I will say that if you're buying it for music then don't get the Dot, get the larger Echo. Music sounds much better. For all other things it's great.

Great gift for young and old. Bought two but plan to pick up one more before Christmas.
