I bought this one for a friend as a gift, but I do have one at home. My son really enjoys telling Alexa to play music and to tell him jokes. It has been entertaining since we got it.

I bought many echo dots for friends and family for Christmas. I love my Echo and this is just a smaller version. The recipients have loved them! They were a great hit this Christmas.

The Echo Dot is a great entry-level introduction into home automation. There is no need to be intimidated by any learning curve. This is a great device that the whole family can use.

love that this can be used anywhere in the house and works with most devices. small enough that it doesn't take up a bunch of counter space either.

Speaker could be better but works well for a nightstand. Would not put in big room.

I bought an ECHO DOT to get quick information verbally, to control smart devices in my home, and to play music through my speakers. It works very well for all of these functions.

The Echo makes life around my house much easier. Turing on my tv, lights, my music, and telling me the weather with just the commands from my mouth. I love my savvy new technology.

The Echo Dot can do so many things! Our original intent was to play music but she can tell a joke, give temperature, give other useful (and occasional useless) information.

The echo dot is by far the better purchase, I myself had a bluetooth speaker sitting at home that was going to be of better quality then the one built in the echo unit which costs way more than the dot. The dot listens to what you ask it to do, it can be paired with so many tasks, skills, and IFTTT which honestly allows it to do more almost everyday (if you don;t know what IFTTT is research it and then download it onto your phone, t's really cool!) All in all, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would buy again.

I’m really glad I got this as a gift for myself! It’s super convenient when I have a question and easy to set up with the app as well! Definitely going to be gifting these!

I have not used all of the functions of Alexa at this point, but we are certainly impressed with the glib manner in which she speaks. Sometimes she's a little hard of hearing and other times she pipes up seemingly randomly, but she does what is requested, mostly.

Purchased 3 for the some of the other rooms in the house. They are great because you don't have to walk downstairs to talk to Alexa or carry it with you all over the house.

I love this! It's so much cheaper than the bigger one and I don't think the bigger one does anything that this Alexa doesn't! I love asking her questions and playing games.

Bought as a additional one for the house, love the white, just wish they would make it in more colors. Love how alexa can control all the smart lights.

Echo Dot is lot better compared to big Echo since only difference between both is speaker and we can connect Dot to our bluetooth speaker which sounds way better than big echo.

You get a lot of bang for your buck. This device is extremely easy to set up and easier to use. After a month, I'm still learning a lot of what this can do. Some of it by accident.

Already have an Echo and another Dot in my house - adding this to my office makes it even easier to control my sound, lights, etc. around the house while i work!

Best little device ever. I got my husband one for Christmas. I use it all the time. Use it for my grocery list, playing music. Got my grandson one for Easter because he loves mine.

Fun! We love that we can have her play just about any song. The games are fun and helps to have hands free calling. I actually bought 2 one for us and one for our son.
