I purchased this for my wife for mother's day and she loves it. She doesn't give it a break it's always being used for what ever she can get to work on .

I have an Echo, but wanted to extend the reach into other rooms without paying another $180. These work well. Speaker not as good and sometimes a little tinny for music, though better than a phone speaker. Recognizes voice well. Serves the purpose.

This is our 1st Echo Dot and a few days after purchasing this one we bought a second one. They are not only fun, but useful. This device makes life so much easier.

Love, love, love my Echo Dot!!! We actually have 3 in our house. They’re great for smaller spaces like a bedroom or office. They’re an awesome gift too!

Their products don't disappoint as I was skeptical of this given its small size, but it is great! Going to get a few more for various rooms, highly recommend it.

Works great! Using the app is a breeze, thought I had a problem and emailed Amazon and within hours got a reply and solved mt problem. Ask it "Alexa, what's going on?"

We purchased the dot and then added speakers instead of the larger version. Sounds much much better. Dot will be great to take with us when we travel to Florida!

The product itself works exactly as designed. The audio is short on bass but otherwise reasonable sound considering its a smaller speaker than the larger echo. Amazon still has a long way to go. Siri answers a lot more questions than Amazon currently.

The 3rd generation is out and it is reasonably priced. I received this as a freebie with another purchase so what's not to like? Obviously I'd buy the new generation one, but this works just fine and price cannot be beat.

This is really cool. Commercials are really cool. However, I think in terms of looking up data much easier if I just do it online. This is a great music player though.

Alexa isn't a treasure trove of information as the commercials make her out to be (which is my reasoning for only 4 stars), but controlling/setup of home automation products like Philips Hue, Wemo, Nest couldn't be much simpler. Absolutely love it!

I have this hooked up to my nest and smart lights. I say some specified words and it turns up or down or on off... Perfect... Also plays music when you ask...

I do not use all the features however the echo dot is great! Even saying happy birthday to me recently. Too busy to check the weather and roads ask the echo.

Excellent addition to my smart system. It was very easy to install, the instructions were easy to follow. This is a great device at a great price.

The Echo Dot delivers as promised. What fun to have Alexis respond to your every command. Especially useful for playing music from Spotify on our Bose Mini SoundLink.

This makes my 3rd echo dot. Love them!!! Great for our smart house with lights and thermostat. Great with a firestick to control your TV. Love it!

the echo dot we purchased works well with our phones and iPad. We hope to take advantage of all it can do in the near future but for now it is working great.
