I have an Echo, but wanted to extend the reach into other rooms without paying another $180. These work well. Speaker not as good and sometimes a little tinny for music, though better than a phone speaker. Recognizes voice well. Serves the purpose.

This is our 1st Echo Dot and a few days after purchasing this one we bought a second one. They are not only fun, but useful. This device makes life so much easier.

This is a great starting out Alexa device if your not huge on technology or just starting to convert your home to a smart home. Works great for our kids

I love this device. I use it with my Fire Stick to voice control my TV. I use it for an alarm clock and to control the lights in my bedroom.

Don't know how to review as it is an Xmas gift. CNET gave it good marks.

We bought this for my son's room so he can listen to music, set his own alarms and use all the other features Alexa provides. He has been very happy with it.

I purchased this item for a gift exchange and it was definitely the gift that was in high demand and everyone wanted to steal. Great product and great price.

I wouldn't rely on the dot alone; however, if you have an Echo, it is a great addition for a second room. And lately, you can not beat the price!

Works great! Using the app is a breeze, thought I had a problem and emailed Amazon and within hours got a reply and solved mt problem. Ask it "Alexa, what's going on?"

The product itself works exactly as designed. The audio is short on bass but otherwise reasonable sound considering its a smaller speaker than the larger echo. Amazon still has a long way to go. Siri answers a lot more questions than Amazon currently.

I Got two of these for the holidays as gifts for my parents and inlaws.

The echo dot is a great addition to my smart home gadgets. I use it with my pc, iPad, oil diffuser and amazon fire stick, on a daily basis.

I am very pleased with how easy it was to setup the Echo Dot working with Alexa. I also setup smart lighting using the Echo Dot and Alexa.......super easy!!!

Simple and easy to connect to WiFi and to use. Very nice for quick information from the web without typing. I'm visually impaired. Now web info made easy

This is really cool. Commercials are really cool. However, I think in terms of looking up data much easier if I just do it online. This is a great music player though.

The Echo Dot delivers as promised. What fun to have Alexis respond to your every command. Especially useful for playing music from Spotify on our Bose Mini SoundLink.

Works just as described!!! I purchased this to use with my Smart Things products and control my lights etc. the speaker is actually really good for being small also.

Alexa isn't a treasure trove of information as the commercials make her out to be (which is my reasoning for only 4 stars), but controlling/setup of home automation products like Philips Hue, Wemo, Nest couldn't be much simpler. Absolutely love it!

She is so much fun, very helpful, fills my home with music but needs a hearing aid! Last night I hurt her feelings by scolding her for not responding when she was only 2 feet from my head. But when she does respond. She is the perfect housemate.

Pretty cool using it...both kids got one and use it on a regular basis.
