I bought this as a gift for my father in law. He really loved it. The price was right and it was a great way to introduce him into this technology. I liked the option of the white. It changes it up a bit, instead of the standard black.

I love that Alexa answers questions and plays just about any music you want to listen to. My kids have used our echo dot to help with homework questions.

Got this because I could not connect Cortana with Smartthings. This allows voice control of Smartthing devices easily. Also,covenient to queue up music with voice.

We use it to ask random questions (who was in this movie, what's the score of the game, etc.), tell us jokes, set alarms, and tell us what time it is. I know it can do so much more, we just haven't really invested the time.

We bought the Dot for our daughter for her birthday and she has enjoyed it a lot--though not as much as her children. As with the Echo, the Dot is easy to communicate with and certainly can make like a bit easier. I would certainly recommend it.

We mainly used it to ask questions regarding the weather or sports times and also listening to music! It is also easy to set up by linking to your Amazon account.

Once I bought it , I never had plans to return! My echo is my cookbook, my work alarm, my weather station, basically everything I need in one. Its easy to set up!

Bought this when it was $10 off as a Father's Day gift for my dad. I had bought 4 of these already for my mother and sisters for Mother's Day. We all love it!

I have several of these in our house. Bought this one for my parents who don’t know how to search or use the internet. This makes it super easy and they love to stream music with it. Just ask and Alexa will find it.

this is so nice to have tells your weather outside , details activity ,if you give reminder for things you need grocery list, appointments etc.

I bought 5 Amazon Echo Dots and everyone loves them.They play music and answer just about any question you have for Alexa.Definitely recommend them for the price.

I loved the Echo dot so much I bought a second one. Easy to set up and use. New skills come out every day. Alexa has an answer for all my many questions.

We now own three of these spaced around the house. We use them to control lights with smart plugs as well as out entertainment center with Harmony hubs.

The dot was a gift. I got to see it in action and it definitely did not upset. It small but the sound can fill a small room with , great for size, sound.

I bought two of these as gifts for two grandsons 13 and 11...they loved them and are still finding new things it does. Parents bought one for themselves.

I like that you can ask Alexa virtually anything, and get an instant answer. The size is great too, and I like that they come in black and white now too.

Excellent for the nightstand, I use as an alarm clock, to change my nest thermostat, ask questions to, etc. this little guy packs a mean punch!

She is a part of the family. Love it for a reminder or alarm. Continues to do more every day. Lot's o fun asking questions trying to stump her.

We added a fifth dot to the family. My youngest son didn’t have one. He uses it to control his bedroom lights and play music. Works great for an 8yr old.

Works great, I just overpaid for it ($50 and is reduced to $30 now).
