I purchased these to go in the bedrooms and my office I have the larger echo on my kitchen island you can even move music anywhere you go in the house.

Now that we purchased this Dot, we've bought two more and the Echo Plus. Great with our kids, reminders, recipes, music, facts, family games, and more.

It's fun. It's intuitive. She's getting smarter. My only beef with Echo Dot is having to almost shout even in close proximity. I also have t played around with placement yet so that may help. I love telling Alexa to order toilet paper or ask what the score of a game was. Very simple set up. Connects easily to Bluetooth speaker and Amazon Prime account. I feel like I'm cheating on Siri, but both these AI's don't seem to mind one another, so........We're all happy together. Alexa and Echo Dot add a dimension of automation that makes life easier and more enjoyable. Get one.....or six.

Love this and the size is perfect. We can use the features every day to check on amazon orders around the holidays and play music hands free.

If you have Tune in Radio app or Pandora you will like this, I do not intend to use this to control my appliances or furnace. Ask it for the weather or todays news its great. But..... Your smart phone can do some of the same stuff ehco does.

Echo is a solid addition to my smart home. Easy set up within the Alexa app on my smart phone. Tons of "skills" to integrate with my smart home.

Echo Dot is a cute looking device. Simplifies routine stuff for you and works pretty well. I would love to explore it more with different integrations.

We have 1 in every room. Waking kids up is fun and easy now. Plus part of our smart house eco system. Works great with Samsung Smart Things.

Echo dot is is a great home assistant. It is compact and has all the functionality of its big brother echo (except big speakers), connects to my speakers seamlessly. There are frequent connectivity issues, otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Already owned the Dot, so when went on sale decided to get as a Grinch style Pollyanna gift as it fell into the price range. Went over well.

Love the Dot ! Have the Echo as well. The Dot understands my voice better than the Echo. The only disadvantage is that doesn't go as loud as the Echo, but loud enough to hear in the same room. Can use a speaker with it. A good buy at $49.00 !

Echo dot very fun, never thought I needed this it is awesome. It can do so many thing especially if you have some home automation. Makes a great Christmas gift.

Each of the kids enjoy using their Echo dots for music and various other things. Great Price. The only thing is if you have someone named Alexis in your house, the Echo dot may think you are asking a question!!!! :)

Bought as a gift because we have the Echo and found it very helpful especially for making lists like grocery lists that you can pull up when shopping.

I bought the Amazon echo dot 2 for my wife for Christmas. And she absolutely loves it. Now she wants to buy two or three more for the other rooms in the house.
