It plays my favorite music, it can tell me jokes. And when I need to time anything I’m cooking it can do that too. This is a grate device.

Was a little intimidating at first but after looking into it it’s pretty simple and fun. Ordered a 3rd gen and another 2nd gen for mom

We always have music playing when we are at home. The Dot is so easy to hook up to your sound bar or sound system and allows you to enjoy the night away,

The echo is a great little addition to the Echo we have. The functionality is terrific and has many interesting and useful skills that I find very useful

I love that I can ask Alexa what the weather is like or to play a certain song. No need to type anything or log onto anything or even open your eyes.

Our annual family Christmas involves a yankee swap. This year the gift had to begin with the letter "D." People were fighting for the dot like crazy.

We have a regular size system in the kitchen. This one is in our son's room. He uses it for music at night, and an alarm. I'm sure it does so much more than we use it for, but he does like asking Alexa questions.

I love love love this thing don’t need much to use it not like the Alexa where you have to have subscriptions to different things in order to use it

I purchased a couple of these to compliment the main unit. I have one in each room, as well in my kitchen, this way I dont have to worry if Alexa heard me or not. They work perfectly. The only downside I have seen so far is , I have a bluetooth speaker that I play music thru, and its paired with one echo, but if you are near a different echo and ask it to play music, it will not default ro the one with the speaker, but start playing thru the echo itself. I have not searched for a work around, and its possible that this is just my own setup mess up.. so I will still give 5 stars.

Its very compact and is easy to add to any room decor. The instructions are a little confusing especially if you are not computer savvy. However it works fine once it is set up.

This is my fifth Echo device so I think they're pretty wonderful all around. I use it mostly for weather reports and playing songs in my Amazon music library.

I love my Echo Dot. So easy to use. She does pick up everything, including "Alexa" from the TV, but that is a minor inconvenience. Overall, great product.

I have bought 3 of these so far. Two for my grandkids and 1 for myself. They love it so they can listen to music in their room and give her commands.

It was a gift for me which ended up being for my wife, she loves this thing. I think she uses it as a speaker more than anything else

Must get used to your voice, but practicing is fun. The Echo is quite amazing! My father enjoys his new gadget for information, weather, and music. Great buy!

I have Echos in every room of my home. Alexa turns lights on/off, sets my home alarm and plays music throughout the house, just to name a few things.

Does what was asked of it, Lesser version of the Echo as expected

My daughter got this as a gift and she loves it. She thinks the fact that she can talk to it and it answers her is amazing. It actually is very cool!

Sometimes you need to say outlet other times you need to say light

I really love using my Alexa. I can control my thermostat, TV, and many of electronics without reaching for the remote. Works great with my dish hopper.
