My family has really enjoyed the Echo. Very easy to set up. Voice recognition is great. It even can discern different kids yelling at it.

Fun and especially like being able to play music by voice command. You need to be creative on how you ask your questions to get an answer but it seems to be improving. Can now activate skills without going on your phone!

The echo dot is all it's cracked up to be. I love how easy it is to use and how many products are advertised as working with amazon echo products.

Compact, allows the user to enjoy all the benefits of the larger echo. Takes up very little space and enjoy the fact you can take when you travel.

I have 2 of the echo dots and I love them. They are the right size for what I needed. They have cool stands for them too!!!

would definitely buy this again if given a second chance

This is Not the Star Trek Computer but.... it's a beginning. Also, like Apple products, it is inside a walled garden built by Amazon. "Alexa, play my Itunes list." Nope. "Alexa, play Amazon music." Poof! yassirIndeedeBob! Well... she really does not say that but you get the point. Alexa could be absolutely awesome if Amazon ever truly opens her up to third party vender's as in: Allowing the Owners to Change Her Name! "Alexa, read microsoft Text file XYZ." Nope. "Alexa, give me a list and sample of your voices so that I can can choose." Nope. But there is hope as the Alexa skills store gets more expansive every day.

I am enjoying the echo dot. It is a fun and very smart device, we use it to turn on and off the lights and other things. Would recommend.

Great for starting a smart home and now have them all thru the house. Intercom is fun along with easily having music in a room.

This speaker was fun and worked great however once I read some online reviews and a friend warned me that alexa can record conversations or text people in your contacts without you knowing, I returned it immediately. Amazon has said they are working on such issues. Alexa is very sensitive to voice so if you are even speaking in another room it can pick up words and may interpret that you are telling it to carry out a command. Other than that I would have definitely kept this wonderful gadget.

Speaker could use a little improvement. It sounds tinny.

Does what it advertises, although I wish it was lighter.

With a pair of quality speakers plugged into auxiliary port, at sale price, you couldn't go wrong. Add another room to our smart network!

I bought 2 of these as gifts for my nephews but then bought one for myself before I gave them their gifts. I love it, I can stay lay in bed and find out the time and weather before opening my eyes. I can have it play music for my puppies when I'm not home and even get a joke once in a while. MY nephews age 12 and 15 both love theirs and were having fun asking it stupid, teenage questions the day they got it. You do have to have a tablet or mobile device that updated enough that it is compatible with the Alexa App though.

Voice recognition works great and does all kinds of different things. Plays music at ease and is great to ask for weather news and much more.

This thing is pretty sweet for as small as it is. Was able to hook it up to my Vizio sound stand through the bluetooth function. Worked flawlessly
