After a little trouble getting the dot connected to the wifi it is a wonderful little handsfree device. The sound is good quality for the size.

I bought 4 of them and put them all over my house. I have them controlling my lights, my TV, my thermostats, etc.. I would highly recommend them!

Enjoying technology .... Alexa is right there to help with whatever I need. It's been fun learning the world of Alexa and her capabilities..

Works great with ADT and ecobee 3. Allows control from anywhere within speaking distance without pulling out your cellphone to open the app.

It has worked pretty well. It is does not answer everything, like a google search, but meets our needs. Easy to set up, and use. Mainly using it for weather, sports scores, and music. It is learning more skills all the time.

We have 3 dots installed throughout our home and have been using them everyday. Everyone in the household uses them for basic info like weather and sports scores. I’ve installed a few of the Caseta light switches from Lutron and we control several lighting zones with Alexa as well. Just added a couple of plugs and have been using those frequently as well. The sound quality is not as good as the 3rd Gen dot or the larger echo units, but we don’t play music on these so it not a problem for us.

Love, love, love my Echo!! Bought it so I could have “white noise” sounds to sleep, now I listen to my favorite songs ALL day long!!

It works the only problem we have more Dots than our house needs, just make sure your home is big enough to handle them.

My whole family enjoy playing with it. It is fun and easy to use it. Just hope there are more free popular musics and songs in included in.

The 2nd gen dot improves a lot from 1st gen and works really great with improved sound

Could use better wifi coverage. Can simplify alexa app.

The amazon echo still has some kinks the work out, but so far it's been pretty great. Sometimes it doesn't understand how to answer my question.

purchased three echo dots as apposed to one echo for the same price, works very well with wink home automation, and the harmony hub, easy set up.

I have an Echo and an echo Dot and I love them both. The Dot is on my desk at work and it gets used all day long. It does a great job!

Bought this for an older family member that is not too tech savvy, but they use this for things like weather, news, music, and love it.

WE have both the Echo and Echo dot throughout the house. They work brilliantly and Amazon is always updating what we can do with them.

Would find it hard to live without Alexa in my daily life. I use the device for reminders, alarm clock, timer, music, etc., etc., etc.

Got this on Black Friday and it's a neat little speaker. Hooked it up to a my tv and christmas tree. Also have it sinked to our surround sound system which we play amaon music through. It's Great
