This is my favorite thing right now. It does everything it is supposed to and is easy to set up. It's like there is another person in the house.

When moving around the house it is a great add on for the main unit so you can leave it in its spot and still use it any where around the home.

Bought it on impulse, but so far its quite good. I don't have a connected home, but I feel this could make the various technologies come together well. Looking froward to seeing what else Alexa can do for me in the future.

This is great for travel and arou d the house. Fun facts, jokes, music, weather. You can hear it all and set reminders too.

This is a good addition to put with my original Alexa.

My husband and I are enjoying the Echo Dot so much! It sounds great and sometimes very interesting when Alexia answers your questions.

Don't really use the Echo to do anything productive in day to day life. I ask it to play music when I am working at my desk. get sports updates, future weather or what's on tv. Things I used to do on my phone but now I can just ask out loud. Kids have the most fun with it requesting jokes and what not. Couldn't use Alexa as the command request because there is an Alexa in the house so it was changed to respond to Echo. Apparently, anything that sounds remotely like Echo will activate it. I have to unplug it when I am having conference calls because it would activate all the time and say I DON'T KNOW. Made that first conference call with it in the room kind of funny. All in all it is not that bad.

After watching a couple of reviews online, I was sold to take the plunge on this device. Very sleek and minimal design to place anywhere in your home. Prompts you to connect to Wi-Fi via the Amazon Alexa app and the set up is a breeze. after that you can personalize all the skills you can teach to Alexa and you'll have an amazing digital assistant. I'm not one to use voice assistant on my phone, but after using the Echo Dot, I find it very useful. This device is also an entry way into all of the other smart products out there.

The echo Dot is a fun and useful gadget. We use Alexa to turn lights on and off, to listen to music and get the daily news information

I purchased this as a gift for my parents who are in there late 70's they seem to like it. The shopping list, music, weather are the most used. They are still learning. The grandkids play with it too when they come over.

I love the 2nd generation Alexa until the 3rd generation came out then I ordered me a replacement
