I wish the speaker was a bit louder when playing music

My husband and I are enjoying the Echo Dot so much! It sounds great and sometimes very interesting when Alexia answers your questions.

I have found this product to work as advertised so far. The distance from device for commands is impressive and it has performed admirably. The device needs to improve in some areas like increased functionality. In what it can do it seems to do very well but it will not respond unless you ask your question in a precise manner. Better instructions; the ability to add your own wake up name; a better understanding in recognizing the different ways a question can be asked to get a response and the ability to get more information on a question instead of stopping or referring you to a web site for more information would be appreciated. For the price it's fills the need for which I bought it and hope that it will increase in it's functionality as time goes on.

The echo Dot is a fun and useful gadget. We use Alexa to turn lights on and off, to listen to music and get the daily news information

This device is small enough to unplug and move from room to room, so I always have my music. I feel the speaker sound could be better, but for the price and convenience, it's an excellent choice.

We use it on a daily basis. great interface. very much a user easy product. they update Alexa almost everyday with better and new options.

gave this as a gift, and it was received as a "super-cool idea"! I'm not creative, but this is so economical and so cool, that I receommend it

Paired with my bluetooth speaker its as good if not better than the Echo, but even by itself its good for an office for quite music listening.

Fantastic for the whole family...I spend much less time doing for everyone, they can now search things, pull-up their music on their own etc!

Bought it to merge a Bose speaker with my whole house audio. Love to be able to 'drop in' on my kids throughout the house.

Exactly as expected. The echo quality was perfect. I now have several and each is providing coverage across my home

Don't really use the Echo to do anything productive in day to day life. I ask it to play music when I am working at my desk. get sports updates, future weather or what's on tv. Things I used to do on my phone but now I can just ask out loud. Kids have the most fun with it requesting jokes and what not. Couldn't use Alexa as the command request because there is an Alexa in the house so it was changed to respond to Echo. Apparently, anything that sounds remotely like Echo will activate it. I have to unplug it when I am having conference calls because it would activate all the time and say I DON'T KNOW. Made that first conference call with it in the room kind of funny. All in all it is not that bad.

We enjoy asking Alexa questions and hearing her responses. Also like having her play music when requested. Good sound for such a small unit.

This is our second echo dot. We bought it to put in our basement so we can “drop in” when the kids are down there to talk to them. It doesn’t aleays work well and the voice fades in and out so you can only hear every few words. Our one in our kitchen works better

Works great I love it, my whole family loves it. Something I wouldn't have bought for myself but was glad I received it.

My husband and son loves these. We just bought 2 of them and they use them both. My son likes to talk to it and get answers.
