Own 3 of these. Perfect for home automation, also small enough that they can be placed behind small fixtures and still pick up commands.

Quick set up and Alexa went to work. Love all it can do, from playing my favorite music, finding a recipe or being my timer.

Nice piece of electronics to have in my office to use

I bought the echo dot because it was the least expensive option and I wanted to try it before investing in something more expensive. These two were in addition to the first one I bought. We got Google Home for Christmas and for the money we prefer the Echo Dot. It's much more responsive, the microphones work great, it understands outlet questions and is great for all ages. My 11 and 8 year old now have their own and we bought my 67 year old dad one for Christmas too. It has a very easy setup and connection options to Bluetooth speakers.

Comes in handy for quick reference questions. Also love the fact that I just ask it to play a certain band or genre of music and it works!

I have enjoyed having my echo dot, there is nothing like waking up in the morning and getting the news or listening to your favorite song. I am pleased with all that it does and it is getting smarter each day.

I'd been holding off the Echo because I wanted something that could control our kitchen overhead speakers and this little guy has been great.

Awesome product, like it better than google home mini

I got this for my mother on her birthday so she could let it read her books and to just play with. After setting up I found myself having a lot of fun with it, asking jokes, getting the temp, and just off the wall questions. Now I got to have one for myself. The only thing that is a draw back is that I got to phrase the questions just right so that the echo knows what I'm asking. Once get over that, it's simple and a lot of fun. Set up was semi quick. The problem I had was getting the speaker to work which had nothing to do with the echo.

Love the different uses of the echo, very easy to use.

I am still exploring all the options involved with the Amazon Dot (and for Echo for that matter). It interacts easily with the Echo and provides an inexpensive means of widening the use of the Echo throughout your home

I like the Amazon echo that it works real good with the electronic things are already here. I just bought the Bluetooth plugs I can wait to hook them up and see how good it works with the Echo Dot.
