Comes in handy for quick reference questions. Also love the fact that I just ask it to play a certain band or genre of music and it works!

I have four dots and on big echo. I love these. Honestly i probably use them for music more than anything else, but i love being able to get info at my finger tips or use them as an intercom thoughout my house. Wish each device could be in more than one group...when playing music i play it on my “everywhere” network, but the. I can’t set up an “upstairs” and “downstairs” using the same dots/devices as they are already on my “everywhere” group. Small complaint, but would love it to be addressed!

This is my second dot that I've purchased! Great to have in multiple rooms. Easy set up and tie in with my other products.

I bought the echo dot because it was the least expensive option and I wanted to try it before investing in something more expensive. These two were in addition to the first one I bought. We got Google Home for Christmas and for the money we prefer the Echo Dot. It's much more responsive, the microphones work great, it understands outlet questions and is great for all ages. My 11 and 8 year old now have their own and we bought my 67 year old dad one for Christmas too. It has a very easy setup and connection options to Bluetooth speakers.

I am still exploring all the options involved with the Amazon Dot (and for Echo for that matter). It interacts easily with the Echo and provides an inexpensive means of widening the use of the Echo throughout your home

First got a google home but then tried echo dot. I like it better as it seems more functional with the amazon services that I have.

I got this for my mother on her birthday so she could let it read her books and to just play with. After setting up I found myself having a lot of fun with it, asking jokes, getting the temp, and just off the wall questions. Now I got to have one for myself. The only thing that is a draw back is that I got to phrase the questions just right so that the echo knows what I'm asking. Once get over that, it's simple and a lot of fun. Set up was semi quick. The problem I had was getting the speaker to work which had nothing to do with the echo.
