I purchased the Echo as a Christmas gift for my son. He really likes the Echo and will probably purchase the larger one. I own the larger version and really like it which is why I purchased this for my son.

I love this little Dot. "Alexa" doesn't know everything though. I bought it mainly just to play music and be able to have it in different places in the house. You can think up any tune from years and years ago and she will play it. Or play a certain artists songs, from any era. I love that feature. I have not made my own playlist, as I don't really have to, I can just ask Alexa to play what I want to hear. Or she will play a radio station. I need to look into using her for more stuff. A lot of questions you ask she does not know. But she will keep a shopping list for you and will keep a "to do" list for you also. I love those features too. She knows the current temperature outside and how the day will be, weather-wise. It is well worth the $50.

It was a gift for my husband who can not set up anything. He was to set this up and connect other devices to it. It wasn't to hard to set up

I love the integration with my lifx lights and ring

This is a pretty good start up speaker. I didn't think I would have ever used ALEXA until I bought this little ECHO.

I own a few Echo devices; however, this is my first dot. Like its sibling products, the setup is very simple. The sound quality is about as good as one would expect for a device of this size.

The Dot was easy to set up and very user friendly. Using accessories to control household items using the Dot makes for ease of living.

These are awesome if you like having music, information, or random answers at any given time. Also great for controlling smart objects

I have 2 of these echo dots we love listening to music so everyone can play what they want in different rooms

My daughter got this for her 9th bday and loves it.

We bought a few of these to hook up into our home to turn on lights and to get ahold of roommates without having to walk upstairs.

Good product purchase 2 for kids as Christmas gifts

Alexa through my stereo a great concept! All my music and news etc... also put one in the bathroom so I can get my news feed in the shower.

Setup was instant nothing needed by me other than wifi. Makes things in the home easier to control when placed in different rooms.

Just plugged it in associated to my wireless network. Added it to Multi-Room for playing of music with my other two Alexa devices.

Setup was easy, so far so good. I am using it mostly to turn on and off light plus control home theater. Makes a nice alarm clock to.

Wanted a user friendly interface that would add usability to our wink configured home. Easy to use and with many independent functions.

My friend has one bought it as a Christmas present.
