This is a great addition to a smart home . I've almost forgotten how to use a light switch !! It seems to hear better than my echo

Brought one few weeks ago. Loved it so much now getting another. It’s like potato chips, can’t have just one. Love the option to be able to utilize my phone and check on my dogs while away from home, speak to them from as it plays on speaker and they bark back, lol. Also love the intercom announcement feature. Canfrom my phone send message to all rooms at same time such as “Foods Ready!”. I now have two echo Dots. My next purchase will be an Echo for my bedroom.

The Dot works great in addition to the Echo. We now can control lights from two separate locations. Just perfect. Easy to set up.

My daughter loves this for playing music for her, in fact her whole family enjoys telling it what they want to listen to.

The whole family loves this dot and uses it for music, news, weather and general questions. Also super handy for shopping lists.

I gave this to my husband who is computer illiterate because I've got the Amazon Echo and I would prefer he uses his own for music. He has an Amazon account but hasn't yet registered this. It seems to be fine but since not registered can't say more. He doesn't know how to download the app so he is doing nothing with it. If you give this to someone else who doesn't feel comfortable with electronics, etc. prepare to have to help them connect the item, download the app, and connect it to their amazon account.

Music any time, trivia qusetions,weather reports ,turns power on and off thru out r house, and alexa tells best jokes lol

I bought this for my father in law and he absolutely loves it! He is able to ask it any question and control the tv with it.

Works as described. The speaker on it is a lot louder than I thought. I discovered connect it to Bluetooth speaker to play music.

This is a great way to wake up. It will also control the hue lights, and read the news. Oh yeah, it does a stuff ton other things.

Never thought I would use the Echo Dot 2 as much as I have. It is great to find quick answers to a wide variety of questions.

I can tell my echo to play my music stations, turn off and on my lights and other appliances. Alexa is awesome!
