Great bedroom alarm. Time and temp without a glance. User beware, after power outage, your smart light connected to you Dot comes on and stays on until you tell Alexa to turn it back off.

Bought one to try out since it was on sale. After a week we bought another one as they were such a great addition. great price!

The echo dot is great, we use it for music, weather, information and so many other things. It pairs well with the Hue too!

Plays music on command, sends text messages via my AT&T wireless account. This thing is fun and very accurate voice recognition.

This is a easy device to set up and use, not only can be used for day to day but also games and smart home. Highly recommended!

The Amazon dot was easy to set and use with my prime account. I have playlists set up and it is easy to get them to work. It will also play stations if you want. The speaker is fine for a small room but not designed for a large group of people. I had no trouble hooking up with my Samsung Smartthings hub. I can use most of my smart home "toys" with voice activation. For example, I had all my Christmas lights in a group and could tell the dot to "Turn on Christmas" and all my lights would turn on.

It's great although you can't take it by its self outside unplugged and play it so I bought a comparable blue tooth speaker!

The Amazon Echo was a great purchase as I begin to make my home smart. Also bought the NEST thermostat which works with Alexa.

For Christmas we got a few new dot3s and a few more dot 2s for our camper. The price was to nice to pass up!

I bought the Dot to help me when I'm doing too many things and need to remember to add things to shopping lists and other things. It works well so far, but I'm still learning some of the "skills".
