Absolutely love it! I got the Echo last year for Christmas and had to get the Dot for the jealous wife! We love it!

Very easy to set up. No sense buying the Echo if you already have a Bluetooth speaker; the Dot easily connects to the speaker.

Echo is easy and I got to listen to a single musical artist as long as I wanted. Love the short news briefs I can ask for.

I originally purchased the unit for my wife to allow her to use voice commands to set the family calendar events without having to find her cell phone. She has not set it up to do that yet. She is enjoying playing games like Trivia Pursuit. It does very good at providing answers to our questions when we can't remember some event or famous person. Still trying to learn more task. It was working with my Hue light but then it stopped for some reason. I have not taken the time to see why. But, it was very handy when it was working because I can turn on the lights when my hands were full of stuff. I plan on purchasing more units so we can create a home intercom system.

Works great to help remind me of things to do that I used to forget. Also works great to give weather and traffic updates
