I love all things Amazon, but this takes a lot of time and effort to set this up to get the results you want. I wanted an Echo, but everywhere I could buy one was sold out, including Amazon. This is what I settled for. After my excitement to give Alexa the request to give me the weather, let me know what's on my calendar for the day....she was ALL wrong ALL of the time. Come to find out, there are other components that I need to download in order for this to work. Maybe one day I'll find the time to sit and get everything together to get this to work for me.

We used it in the bathroom as an individual unit. Liked it. Got it working with the main Echo and like it better.

The Echo Dot sits on our fridge in the kitchen. It's become a handy gadget in that part of our home. "Alexa, set a timer for 5 minutes. Alexa, what's the news update? Alexa, what's the weather today?"...and so on and so forth. Even our kids from ages 3 to 9 get in on the action and it's fun for them. Teamed with Amazon Prime they can even ask Alexa to play their favorite songs while eating breakfast. I just might need to pick up a few more to spread around the house.

I enjoy just having to tell her to play a song or put items on my shopping list while it’s on my mind

The Echo Dot is easy to set up and great fun. There is so much to do with it and Amazon adds new skills regularly.

Keep this next to me on the nightstand. Nice to wake up and just speak to hear music or watch tv. Once you start using it you will wonder why they still make remote controls.

I love my Alexa echo. She is on point for everything I need and ask her to do. I love how I can call people on it.

My sister and I both have one. We can call each other, order through Amazon Prime, and listen to music. I live it!

I was hesitant in buying this at first for fear I wouldn't use it. I use my echo dot more than I ever thought I would.

This can hooked up to blue tooth speakers where the echo can not. Alexa understands my voice commands where Siri does not.

It was very easy to set it up and use like internet searches but by voice. Very effective for weather forecast.

Great product! I love having my “alexa” upstairs! We have any echo downstairs and this makes life so much easier.

Works to power my smart home. No issues. Good functionality especially if you add features through the phone app.

The echo dot is a really good piece of technology for the home. Set timers if your cooking or have Alexa sing you.

item was what i expected hooked up to bose speaker and never fails love it. i bought item more music use it wit pandora
