We have the Echo downstairs and now have the dot upstairs. I love to use it to listen to music. Sound is great!

I have my echo dot for almost a week and the installation took me 1 minute. Very easy to setup and download the app.

The dot works just like the larger units. I use mine in the kitchen for music and to answer questions about cooking.

I'm just at awe with Alexa's pronunciation, it's a bit monotonic but pretty much perfect otherwise. It took a bit of fidgeting around to get it properly sync'd to my Amazon account, but after that I've been using the product with no issues, even if I had to disconnect the power to move the device to another room, it re-connected to my WiFi again quickly. My wife and I use this regularly, and it has no trouble understanding our different voices even without any training.

Great little device to add to my ecosystem. Highly recommended and a great price.

Apart from the speaker quality this one does the same tasks as the bigger Echo. For this price its exceptional value.

Bought this as my second Amazon Echo device. I already had an Echo, so figured I would get this to extend it around the house. Alexa is a great assistant and usually gets the job done. The microphones do a good job of picking up sound and processing the requests from the user. The output is sound from the Dot is a little hard to hear sometimes. Favorite feature of mine is using the Drop-In feature to talk to my kids in their room while I am downstairs.

This is a great value and packs some good sound into a small package. Purchased for my daughter for music. Love it.

Since I received my first Echo, I have added one to each bedroom... using the Alexa app, this makes it easy to contact everyone without having to yell through the whole house :)

Basically, these are a "lazy" person's way to ask the network questions. In addition, they are a good way to listen to music either from the web (Pandora) or from your computer.

Love not having to type my questions out. I walk by and ask Alexa the weather every morning as well as the traffic.
