I love having the Amazon echo dot(2nd generation) smart speaker with Alexa around to ask questions.

Love this device. It’s pretty helpful, especially when you have it connected with the smart plugs!

Been using it as an intercom and has been the cheapest and most user friendly for my house.

The Echo Dot is a neat little product that integrates reasonably well in my life (made up of mostly apple and sonos products). We have a pair of them, and one of the best functions is using the "drop-in" feature which acts like an intercom so we can check in our boys either upstairs or downstairs. I also appreciate the usefulness in the kitchen (timer, recipies, conversions) and quick news or sports briefings. Since I am still new to the Echo Dot, I probably haven't unlocked all of the great things about it, but a weekly email from amazon keeps me in the loop. I am eagerly awaiting the promised update that will allow full integration with Sonos.

This is the second Echo Dot for our household. The first I got last year as a Christmas present. We LOVE it. We use it to stream music from our playlists, to set timers, to ask questions and about the weather, and especially for the shopping list. My kids can add stuff to the list while I'm at the store and my list in the Alexa App updates to show it! I really think that was my (personal) favorite feature with ONE Dot.

Fun to have around, good learning tool, once set up very easy to use so use it often even as we are just walking by.

I got 3 when they qere on sale, it does everything the echo does just smaller built. Great for kids rooms, or dorms.

The echo dot is perfect for smaller spaces. Fits right on top of a shelf or dresser without taking up much space.
