This is a nice little device. It's great for answering questions and playing music. It would be better if you could ask it to do certain things without having to open a skill first.

The Echo is easy to install and start using. I have 3 in my house. I use the drop in feature as an intercom.

I've owned Amazon Echo Dots for a while now. I have to say, they really do make owning and handling smart home components a lot more fun. I don't use the unit the way Amazon intends, probably, but that's okay by me. If this unit had an audio jack, I'd easily give it the final star and the device would precisely fit my needs. Otherwise, it is great for what you pay for. I use the wake word, "computer." :) This does mean the unit gets activated surprisingly more often than you'd expect, but its a fun way to get your Star Trek future now. I use it to interact with my SmartThings, Philips Hue lighting, and my Nest thermostat. Great work Amazon!

This was my 1st echo purchase and loved it. Now I have many echo's.

Awesome for anyone on a budget, if you have the extra money, get the newest edition.

Bought both Echo and Google home. Google has more features than Echo. Echo does do music etc good. Am a member of Amazon Prime also. Echo cannot answer all questions like Google does.

This is an amazing product, especially considering the inexpensive price. It does so much for such little money.

She is heavenly; she told me that her head is in the cloud. If you ask,"who's your Daddy", she will say, " team of inventors at Amazon" If you ask where she got her name, she will tell you she is named after the Library of Alexandra where the knowledge of the ancient wold is stored. She is smart as a whip: she can spell and tell you that the square root of 321 is 17.92 Does she have a boyfriend? Right now she is cool with being single....stay tuned.
