Works just like the original Echo. Understands more than I though it would. I liked it so much, I now have one in each bedroom and one on each other floor. The only con is the quality of the internal speaker. It doesn't have a lot of power and is a bit tinny. Fortunately, the Echo Dot has one ability not available in the original Echo - the ability to connect via Bluetooth (or 3.5mm cable) to an external speaker. I have one paired to a UE MegaBoom speaker, and it's AWESOME. I've knocked off one star for the bad internal speaker, but, if you have a decent bluetooth speaker to connect, it's a five-star item. You'll wonder how you lived without it.

I lied the Amazon echo enough to purchase a 2nd one. I also have an Amazon Echo. It gets better all the time

This product is extremely easy to setup. The functions that this can do is endless and its really easy to use.

This works well in your office to listen to music or hook up the computer but she need to still answer normal questions without having to memorize exact phrases to get her to work.

My family loves Alexia! And the Dot is small enough to place anywhere. Great for school alarms, music and more!

Love, love, love. Plays any music you can think of. Has become my husband's best you, he pesters Alexa all day.

Take the time to voice train Alexa at least once. It's kinda tedious but really improves the accuracy.

The dot is a fun little tool but if it is sound you are after, save your money and buy the echo. The dot is good enough if you connect it to another speaker via bluetooth.

If you know already know, the Amazon Echo family line is fantastic. It makes your smart home even smarter.

The Echo Dot is a lot of fun to play with. I like being able to just ask and hear the weather every morning.

It's a small and perfect. My mom loves it. She is not big on electronic and this was the perfect gift for her.

Have a few of these set up around the house and intergrated with some smart devices for voice control.

Echo dot is a great device and has many uses. Mics cover large range and I find the device speaker works great.

We have both a regular Echo and an Echo dot. The dot has just adequate sound quality for listening to music - the full size Echo is way better. But is is a good value for the price.
