Bought this during Black Friday deal which pretty much made it half off! Even though a newer version already came out, but you can't beat that price!

Easy to install, loaded with useful tools! I can get rid of alarm clocks, radio's, etc.

Easy setup, find myself using it often. I don't know how I got by without it Better than google and Siri.

This is my second amazon echo. Wanted to have one for both bedrooms. Very easy to setup and use.

This works with very specific apps, had difficulty staying connected to wifi, and couldn't handle any additional background noise when giving instructions. Concept is great and was useful for some basic commands.

Echo Dot is so easy. You never know when you will need it until you do and then you say that it is so hard to be without. Any music/artist at your fingertips. This is great !

I have both the Echo and Echo Dot. The Dot has pretty much the same features as its larger sibling for what we use it for. It sits in our kitchen and we use it quite often particular for background music or ordering goods with Alexa. One thing we noticed is the Dot seems to have occasional issues responding to voice commands. Other times when it's totally silent in the room Alexa would randomly respond to a command that was never given... a little creepy... other than that it's been a fine device. The Dot has a button to mute the mic as well which seems like a good feature particularly with guests in the house.

It works well with stereo system. As well it always understands my questions and gives quick responses.

Alexa is great. Echo doesn't have all the answers but it's fun to have it give you information.

This has been a great product for me. I have been using it to listen to audio books and music while I am building my shop. It also controls my lights with smartthings integration. The only frustration was initially getting it to register/connect to wifi, but after getting that working it had been flawless. I do have it hooked up to larger speakers. I don't think it would be good for music with the built in speaker. For 50 bucks you can't go wrong.
