Am really new at this new technology, but the Echo Dot was really easy to set up. It comes in handy with things to do around the house, playing music and even playing games.

I’m enjoying my small Alexa so much that I’m going to purchase a bigger after Christmas. This is a unique product and I also purchased one for each of my kids for Christmas.

I love me Echo Dot. I now have one in my bedroom and office. Very easy to install and use. Just ask Alexa... absolutely happy with my purchase and they make great gifts too.

Makes life much easier in every way. I can check weather. Set alarms and play all my music on command

Great product , I love how easy it was to setup and download app to phone. Programming it to the other electronic equipment in my home was easy . Wonderful waking up to music

How did I live without the Dot and Alexa?! I love being able to control things in my house by just asking Alexa. Playing music, controlling outlets, etc. Setup was easy too.

After installing the new Echo, I immediately starting asking for songs and information..A very cool tool that I can also link to my tv..I'll need to figure that out though..

This was a christmas gift for my son 2 years ago! now he is 12 years old and it has been the best purchase ever since he saw that we had the Amazon Echo and wanted to have one in his room. This one is so small and easy to use. Keeps him on task for school and plays him music to sleep with a timer to turn off. It has been great to him!

I have a total of 4 Echo Dots around the house to provide voice control of lights, thermostats, garage door, and whole house audio systems. Easy to setup and works very well.

At first I thought this was going to be just another hardly used toy but after a month I realize how useful this item is. Whenever any info is needed like weather or sports scores this thing is very useful. Works very well but sometimes does not get my question right or gives some unrelated answer. Rapidly has become a go to tool that I wonder how I lived without! Hooks to my Vizio sound bar with Bluetooth flawlessly for great music too

Bought this for my mom and shes loves it. The fact that she can use it to update her calendar, set alarms, check the weather and more. Shes already looking at getting more.

I bought this for my father-in-law. His health and mobility are declining so we thought this would help him control his tech products. In his mid 80's he loves new technology so this intrigued him and helped make his life a bit easier. He loves it so I do too.

Love this small compact unit. I have the Amazon large tower and the Amazon Show. I like the Dot for my bedroom and can ask to have it wake me to chosen music at a set time.

I purchased this along with the 2nd gen echo. They work seamlessly together along with other compatible smart home products. I have had to make sure these are at least a few rooms apart. I placed this one in the office while the echo rest inside the kitchen.

Wanted to be able to turn lights off in bedroom but 1st Alexa was located too far away. Rather than buy a speaker, it was cheaper to buy another Echo for. Works wonderfully

It does what it says. I now can turn on my lights, check my traffic before going to work and call my daughter even when I dont have my phone right there with me. I love it.

We have 3 of these in our house. It's about the size of a hockey puck but sounds much bigger, but by adding a bluetooth speaker, it fills the game room with a great sound, plus controlling the a/c, stereo, lights, and answering inane question from my drunk friends playing pool. 3 of these (amazon DOT, + the Amazon Echo, and the Amazon tap. All have their own advantages and drawbacks, but the pluses far outnumber the minuses.

I had google home before this, although it was great i actually returned it and bought 3 alexas with the same money. She might not be great at searching like Google home but she does have way more skills and most importantly to me she plays music and has Bluetooth. I definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a smart assistant. And if you aren't sure which way to go like I was i suggest you try google home first then try Alexa.

Got this on a lark. I didn't really know how useful it might be. But after having in now for a month, it continues to show new ways it can be helpful. And we got it on sale at Best Buy during Christmas, so at that price, it was even better. We can put all kinds of new functions into it, and more will come. Our semi-invalid mother-in-law really loves it because she can ask all kinds of questions and get good answers. Great purchase.
