Dot is all you need

It becomes even more confusing when you plug it in and realize it functions EXACTLY like the original Echo. If you have a good Bluetooth speaker to pair it with, don't waste money on the Echo. Use the savings to buy another Dot for a separate floor of your home or for the voice remote that allows you to control Dot from pretty much anywhere.

Along with the regular Alexa functions I can now voice control the automation in my home It's very convenient and I think the price is reasonable. The device has a great microphone and is very fast. If you want to listen to music on the dot you may want to add additional speakers for improved sound quality.
