to call my daughter up stares is grate . lising to my radio show is no problem

I own both the full size Amazon Echo and now the Dot. The Dot is much more useful than I originally thought. The speaker is okay...not for listening to music..but fine for basic spoken word. This is a good and inexpensive way to broaden your home automation. However, these Amazon Echo products do not yet "sync" with each other - eg to play music. However, the Google Home devices do sync with music.

Alexa doesn't always understand what I'm asking, but it's a lot of fun. I ask her for the forecast, add appointments to my calendar and play Jeopardy.

Purchased for baby's room. Perfect size and no need for the bigger one for sounds.

I find myself using this for its music playing capability more than anything else.

The Alexa devices are very fun. They make smart hone easier than ever.

The Echo Dot works just like you would expect. Easily recognizes what you say to it.

Keep this one down stairs. Kids playroom, they play it all the time.

Does exactly what it is built to do. Very nice looking and easy to use.

I fell in love with this and had to get 2 more so there is in on each floor of our home. The best feature is the ability to have family members share shopping and to do list. My kids can’t use the didn’t know I had to do it excuse since it’s in their phones (which they never ignore). Plus no more looking for a pen or not adding an item to your shopping list because it wasn’t nearby.

The echo dot is fun to use but I don't see myself using it everyday. I will probably have to get more smart products for it to become useful.

The main selling point of this device is you can use any of your exsisting bluetooth speakers to play your amazon playlist at a mild roar,or you can use the 3.5mm jack on the back to connect to your home theater and really give your ear drums a beating. (At your own risk of course). I have both the amazon tap and the echo. Unfortunately these devices have their flaws when it comes to audio reproduction.hence the bluetooth and the 3.5mm jack connectivity on this device will allow for the pickiest of listeners to appreciate their music thru exsisting devices.

Bought these for my nieces as I already had the original one, was perfect for them...

We use it all the time. We even have a Bluetooth speaker attached to it for mobility.

Great for setting timer when cooking, getting weather reports and calendar reminders!
