Pair it with a USB charging capable portable speaker and you have a mobile solution anywhere you have wifi. JBL Charge 3 may be a good option to try. Be prepared to exhibit some spending will power since there are many things Echo can do with your home, music and much more. But even without additional gizmos/services, it still has many great no- cost uses.
